I've just started making a level hack of SMB, and I've been using YY-Mario and SMB Utility. I want to know if it is possible to add additional enemies to one level. For now I've pretty much assumed that this isn't feasible, since in YY-Mario it lets you increase the number of objects and not sprites. Also, I've tried "Sending" a sprite from another level into 1-1 in SMB Utility, but it always says, "Can't send source object." It doesn't seem possible, but I'm asking incase I'm missing something. Sorry to sound so noobish after 3 years, but this is my first time with SMB . |

An SMB hack? I've got to help. ^.^ Well, the "Cannot Send Source Object" error only happens with certain objects. It also works with both Blocks and Foes. Oh, beware the YY-Mario "Increase number of objects" command. It takes the objects from the next hex level. (Getting another object in 1-1 will take the first object in 1-3) However, when you DO take an object from a previous level, it will be added on, in a new page at the end of the level, allowing for bigger levels. At least, that's how I do it, when I need to. Just make sure you don't shrink the following level, like 1-3. |

Thanks for the help, I kept hunting for sprites in levels that I could send over to 1-1. Now I have to figure out how to set up appropriate screen exits. |
