I'm quite distrurbed.

"Well excuuuuuuse me Princess!" - Link

Is it me, or does the lower portion proposed in the show for Zelda look, questionable? Weird coloring for that area. (I'll just say it, it seriously looks like she's pantsless)

Yeah, apparently anyone here who has SBC Yahoo, and possibly an account on the site, can watch episodes in the videos section. I might watch more ... since they're pretty pathetic and dumb.

One of the best parts was how they used sounds from the game, for the show. Link doesn't slice at the enemies, but just sits there and shoots the sword beams at them with the game sound playing while he does.

I'm sure some of you would like to see this, if I can figure out how to download them I might host a video or two myself.

No one watch it, they'll make your eyes cry and point out the 586305 flaws with it. I watched one episode a long time ago and thought that this was even worse than Pokemon...

And that's why it's fun to watch them ... if you're bored.

They're horribly pathetic.

But I just watched one, unsure if I'll go on.

Is this what those Phillips CD-I Zelda games were like? (The Wand of Gamelon, etc)

I never saw the Link cartoons as kid, but seeing them now... yeah I see what you mean.

I've watched them all a couple times now, although I've recently deleted them from this computer, since they were basically just taking up space. I didn't watch them or do anything with them. I have some episodes stored on my old CDs, although each one takes around 100Mb of space

I find the idea of Yahoo letting you download them if you're getting that service to be dumb. You can find all the episodes by searching other sites on the internet, and you can get them for free Before I deleted them, the ones on this computer came from this site on zeldapower.com.

I never really noticed what you're talking about with the lower half of Zelda's body though

They're definitely fun to watch if you're bored, but not otherwise.

I think they're an important part of any video game fan's childhood.

Not a... well... extremely memorable one, but back then we didn't really pay any attention to the suckage.

Ziff is your post even relevant to this topic?

I never heard or seen the old Zelda cartoon when I was a kid. I've watched SMB3 and I liked it back then. I'd probably watch an episode just to see how they did it but I'd have to find a site that I can download for free though.

By some reason I recognize that line. And yes, I remember the "Do the Mario" song, Kitten Yiffer.

They showed Mario Supershow on Foxkids or as it

Link reminds me of Protoman in that "excuse me" clip, at least the "princess" part... in fact, knowing old cartoons... he might -be- Protoman. Scary thought.

Where can one obtain these? I once saw them on TV when I was small and always wanted to see them, but they stopped showing them. :\

Well I actually personally liked the Mario show as a kid, except for the weird part where they had two old guys jumping around in the intro. (That wasn't animated)

Other than that, I'd have to say that Link resembles Captain Planet.

And no, sorry to dissapoint some, but that's not a good thing.

Oh man. All the old Nintendo shows were awesome. Mega Man was mega-corny, though. Like even more than the other ones.

"Hey pizanos! It's time for the Super Mario Brothers Super Show!"

And Captain N, anyone?

I also had some of the comics when I was a kid. Man, I'm a dork.

Hey, we have an old Nintendo Power magazine ,or whatever its name is, in school.

It has a Mario comic in it.

I mean the whole actual comic books.

But the Nintendo Power comics were pretty good, I remember a SMW series, a LttP series, and a Star Fox series. Ooh, and Nester.

The NP comics were pretty good, but a little inconsistent with the games. But it wouldn't be very interesting to read a comic that matches the game, now would it? The super metroid comic gave us Houston, and now it's common to joke that the dead decapitated guy in front of Kraid's lair is Houston.

As far as the Link cartoon, yes I remember watching as a kid, and I could tell they were terrible then. Maybe it was the reason I didn't try any Zelda games until LTTP. And I always hated these Nintendo cartoons, but still liked to watch them for kicks. Why did it seem like in the Zelda cartoon that there were no people in Hyrule except Link and Zelda, and lots and lots of Moblins? That's just how I remember it. Captain N was the only watchable Nintendo cartoon, and even then it was a stretch.
