Like, duh?  No, ratings don't mean everything, my friend. The only reason to care about ratings is if you MAKE the show, or if the ratings are drastically low, because then the show may be cancelled. That's all I can think of. I don't live in a bubble, I just don't give a flying frick if 5 million people watch a show or not, it doesn't mean I'm going to unless I like it. As far as choosing which shows to watch on TV, I really hope you aren't going by ratings, because...well...Then I question if you even have an opinion of your own... But I doubt you do that. Speedy was a Titan in one of the old comic book series, or something like that. They decided to throw him in there for fun. |

I didn't mean for you to interpret that ratings gives the reason to watch and enjoy the show. And where did I even remotely say that I watched shows based on ratings? I simply said, that without good enough ratings, the show you like may be cancelled. It's an easy concept to follow. |

More like he was one of the original founders of the Teen Titans along with Robin and Aqualad. I think they throwed him into that episode to introduce him to the general public because he'll probably be taking a greater role in the show in upcoming seasons. "Oddparents is kickass." Word. |

LOL.ARR, I wasn't talking to you, anyway, 'Dude'. :rolleyes: Aqualad 'became a Titan,' but he's not really one...yet, anyway...Who knows...? The show has been scheduled for 4 seasons, so...They're working on 3... And I'm not too terribly worried about its ratings...I don't know why they'd play it 8 times a week if nobody besides me watches it... Oddparents DOES kick ass, I'll have to admit. It's sad that I can watch shows like that and actually enjoy them, but I do. |

| "Aqualad 'became a Titan,' but he's not really one...yet, anyway...Who knows...?" Pfft, I meant that in the comic book, Speedy, Aqualad, and Robin were the original founders. Then, other members joined in. Oddly enough, Starfire, Cyborg, and Raven all came along later (70s, 80s, I forget) when Marv Wolfman, who also wrote a few episodes including Deep Six, co-created them in the comic the New Teen Titans. In the show, yes, he did 'become a titan' in an early episode (Deep Six.) He just has one (two actually) of those handy dandy Titan Cell Phones.  He just doesn't use them. Maybe in the next two seasons.  Geek = me |
