| Hello all, I'm back after my 4-or-so day break off the board, and I would like to announce that my SMW Hack in finished. It's 100% complete, the special world is all done, and there's lots of ExGFX, a few custom blocks, and a totally redesigned overworld. It's called Ultra Mario World. To download it, click below: http://home.comcast.net/~everythingdotcom/umw/UMW.IPS If you have any comments, questions, complaints, etc. post them here. I didn't really test this hack much after completing it, so if you notice any errors, point them out.  |

| Yeah, Toadeeboy is what I'm known as outside of this board. I figured someone would post about it once they found out... Oh, and those triangle blocks just don't seem to work right in some levels, so here's what you need to do: Run, then sorta jump at the triangle so that you..uh...jump on it, and it'll work. And how'd you get to Lemmy's Castle already? I just started this topic a few minutes ago. And yes, KATW, I have some screenshots. Here they are.  |

| i patched it, but as skateboarder said, the intro is messed up. and it is not only the intro, but thebground of yoshis house is messed up too. and the worse is that when i enter grassy plains 1, the stage is actually the iggy battle arena but without iggy and the music is the piano. could this be the snes tool??? or would it another evil doghnutz virusez??? OMG!!! | Those shots looks nice. However... A piraya plant with a red vine?? In order to change that, give the level it is in a custom palette. Add the green sprite palette to the black, unused part of the red sprite palette. Then, edit the piraya plant vine graphics to use those colors instead. However, this requires that you use a custom palette in every piraya plant level. |

| I agree with Smallhacker. You can change the palette of the ground in the 2nd pic to brown or grey, but not so bright and in the castle shot, make the stone blocks grey. Pink doesn't look good there. The other shots are good, but change the palette in some pics and it would be a good hack. (edited by Hidden Mario on 03-27-04 08:44 AM) |

I downloaded my IPS patch, patched it with SnesTool, and the intro wasn't messed up, the backgrounds were fine, and all the stages were normal. Maybe you guys need to get SnesTool instead of LIPS. |

I would recommend changing the palettes in the 2nd and 3rd shots. The background for the 5th screen is awkward . But my favorites are the last two, they look very good. |

| I like the blocks bright pink because it contrasts against the dull background. And the 2nd shot is from "Candyland", which explains the multicolored ground. An added challenge: See if you can find the special world-it's still there but much more difficult to find!  |

| OK, the link is to umw.ips, but it isnt there. I put in umw.zip. It was there, but the ips in it messed the game up. It says toadee presents, then it has a weird intro level. Press start and go to a new file, it goes black and doesnt do anything. WTF!!!!!!!!!??????? | |||

| The ips needs to be capitalized, hence, IPS, because the server that I'm on automaticly changes the extension to capital, if that helps. | |||
