That's pretty damn hardsh how they only give the extra space to people in America. I'm pretty sure I only have 2MB storage. But thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to do it when I actually need the space.

I never really check my E-mail inbox unless there's about 5 unread ones in there. This is because if I click on the "You have 5 new messages" that comes up when I open MSN Messenger, it loads the page up in IE, which is stuffed for me. It goes straight to some search engine which I cannot remove. No matter what I type in, it just goes back to that damn page. So the only way I can get to my inbox, is by loading up Mozilla, going to my favorites list and signing in from there. Too much of a hassle.

I'll take the pirate cable stuff.

As far as web-based services go, I'll take Gmail over the others any day of the week. Nothing beats good old POP3 though, especially when your ISP blocks a very high percentage of spam and Thunderbird takes care of most of the rest.

I think they made an attempt since to improve their system.. I don't know when the last time you used Hotmail, though, but I found that a lot of my e-mails were getting filtered as spam. =\

well, for the hotmail accounts I have yet to part from--the spam filter is pretty good. although, I haven't received legitamate mail in ages in those accounts. As for the hotmail account I do use, I haven't released the email account publically so I don't get any spam

as for gmail, I have two gmail accounts that i barely use at all... hmm, I have 50 invites, anyone want one?

I'm not a one who humps GMail, but rather someone who just hate Hotmail passionaly.

Be away for 30 days and... everything is gone. That bugs me the most.

...WITH CHANGING YOUR COUNTRY?

People should be more daring nowdays, or wait. Is it against the rules to lie on hotmail?

Trapster: It's not really that hard, you change your country to the US and select a state + ZIP code => Close Account => Reopen Account => Tada!

I would do this as soon as possible were I you (because I already did it :p) because you can never know when Microsoft notices that there was a huge bump in the amount of American users.

Or finds this posted everywhere and fixes it within a day or two. Hotmail has to be the absolute worst email service I've ever used.

*laughs* Second comment.

But yeah seriously, Gmail is just fine. Besides, if 1 GB isn't enough, invite yourself and add a few more.
