First of all, I excuse if you already know this.  Ladies and gentlemen! Sick of the 2MB storage limit that Hotmail has? Well, there is now a way to bypass this. Microsoft has decided that anyone living in America gets 250 MB and everyone else doesn't. Any American who signs up gets 25 MB at first and later 250 (after about a month to check activity and such I asume). Everyone else gets 2 MB and needs to pay for more. Ok, so here's the loophole, for everyone who can read Dutch, go here. Everyone else, read on. - Go to your inbox and then Options -> Personal (tab) -> My profile - Change your country to the United States and select a state + ZIP code. (e.g. California + 96067) - Set your language to English (Could be optional, I don't know, just do it to be sure) - Save everything - Then go to your inbox and in the adress bar and delete the /HoTMaiL?curmbox=etc part in your URL bar. Instead of that you type Accountclose. This will take you to the account closing page. Click to button the close your account, don't worry, no e-mails will be lost. - Close your browser and reopen it - Go to hotmail.com and log in. - This will reopen your account, click past the advertising stuff and tada! You've got 25 MB of storage! - You'll have received and e-mail from hotmail from wich I quote: You may notice that your storage meter for your e-mail inbox only says 25 MB instead of 250 MB. Please allow us at least 30 days for us to bump up your storage to the complete 250 MB.**** It is important to check your inbox regularly during this time. - That's it!  Now you just have to wait until they upgrade your account. It's really cool, I now have 25 MB and the endless spam mails can't harm me anymore! |

| I wonder how many people would get a bit pissed at MS for offering us over 125 times the amount of space non-US people get (though this is just another reason I'm glad I don't use Hotmail. I get no spam with my email, even though I don't really get much of anything anyway ) |

And I'm aware that other e-mail providers offer more space than hotmail and such, it's just that Hotmail seems to be the most used. |

| I've known about this for quite some time now, and I even got the email from hotmail atleast 5 times. However, not only americans get the additional space, Canadian users get it too. Even though, I don't really care about getting more space on my email because I have never used more than 1mb of my total ammount. It just makes it seem like I'm using less space since instead of being between 30 to 50%, it always appears as 1%. |

Well, you could consider that Google getting this big could be dangerous in a way. Starting to be like Microsoft, but with web services.  Then, Microsoft have it's own searching tool now. Which actually brings up sites that talks bad about Bill gates as first search results. XD My best mail is the one I get from my ISP, but I seldom give that one online so it's worthless... kinda. |

| Eh, I worship Gmail. But mostly because I get less spam / gmail does an exceptional job of identifying spam. My other accounts are flooded with mail telling me to enlarge body parts I DO NOT HAVE. |

| Same for me -- but on occasion there are reasons to load up that email account, like then DynDNS.ORG reminds me that my domains/username are about to expire and I needed to renew them eight days ago because they've already expired, or because someone emailed me or whatever the case may be.
