| OOC: Challenge to Dracoon. Normal rules, and please feel free to use any character of yours you want. (The thread title says 'Vs Dracoon', but it can be any one of your characters instead.) More info on Yiusi is explained in the profile, of course. Good luck. "Where are we going now, Yiusi?" "I don't know. I need to find an employment of some kind... Last I heard, Tuxydon became a hunter. But that isn't my style." "True, true. Let's head north... There's supposed to be an ancient town in the mountain reigon... You could probably learn something there." "Interesting. Let's go, then." Yiusi silently communicates with her Guardian Spirit (a.k.a. the Yiusi Ball) as she walks from the town on the edge of the forest. The Guardian is enfused with her right now, as she has had no need to call it out of her into it's Yiusi Ball form. Yiusi, an ex-Oracle, has the appearance of an 18 year old girl. She wears a gold, flowing dress, a bit short so it does not drag on the ground, with a magenta stripe down either side. Her gold hair flows behind her beautifully. She looks sore of like a princess, and in a sense, she is. Yiusi was created from the genes of an Oracle Princess to guard a chosen one for 1000 years... but after defying her destiny, the Oracle Lord, Kyr'Shei, sentenced her to one lifetime among mortals. Almost immediately after, she met Zerodius and they had a divine battle, her first one ever, where Yiusi learned of the bond between her and the Yiusi Ball. Sunset has begin to cloak the plains after a while. The reds and oranges envelop the flat terrain, shining off anything nearby-- rocks or trees, or at least the few that exist. The mountains are still quite a ways off, and the sun is sinking behind them in the distance. Short grass covers the landscape except for where there is a dirt road, unchanging in direction, that leads both north and south. Yiusi is charmed by the beauty. | OOC I hate the internet sometimes, I had this all typed out, and internet connection goes off, my computer goes off, I have to retype it all on word, and then it won't save correctly. Anyways, nice entrance huh? "Tell me now... Tell me how your power works." A dark knight, speaking rather softly for someone looking like him, walked down the middle of the road, his armor shined, but he didn't have a weapon drawn. "So he' still around... I'm surprised." Star walked slowly through the grass; he could feel Odin's presence miles away. Odin's power was easily distinguished, being so... versatile. Star began to run, moving very quickly. "Sensors detect two powers... Readings show one with a high knowledge of mechanics, sword skill, magic, and an unknown skill. Threat level... S. Other life form's energy detection, mostly spiritual and Oracle class, mechanical skills... low, spiritual powers, high. Subject Yiusi. Threat Level Zero. Other subject, only one possible match found, Odin. Revised threat level Zero." Dracoon's new sensors read much about both fighters in the distance, Dracoon began to rush towards the source, wondering what was going on. "New information, probabilty of a fight, 94%. Best course of action... watch, do not intervene, hide presence." Dracoon got close enough to keep a torough scan, but to far away for either to see him, and being a robot, he couldn't be sensed either. "I know who you are. You are Yiusi. Oracle given a human form, friend of Schwa and Tuxydon, met with Star, Dracoon, and Origin. Uses spiritual energy, and primary weapon is a ball of unknown energy. Show me your power." Odin drew his sword, he didn't need much to understandthe power, and didn't want it to come out in full, just needed a taste of it. He had to learn about every type of power, to become the best. Training with all the people he met had made him so strong, but he had to be ready for anything. OOC Lets see if Schwa knows anything about Norse Mythology! Yay Myths! |

OOC: Whoa! Odin is a Norse God! He traded his left eye to drink from the Well of Knowledge, if I am correct. Hmhm... Yiusi's last battle was ALSO vs. a God, and she happened to win. Ask Zerodius, he'll tell you. (In that battle, though, I say we're both winners.  ) Okay, let's get it on!Yiusi stops walking and stares at Odin. "You're disturbing the beauty of the scene. I am not your enemy. See you later." She walks past the stranger, getting what che can out of the sunset view and not even turning around once to look back at Odin. If Odin wants a battle against Yiusi, he'll have to WORK! Yiusi is as docile as they come. |

| OOC Wow, that is correct, but not what I'm getting at. This Odin was named after that Odin, because a story forum will be around soon showing why, but it is more of the point that Odin knows he has to fight a battle, he has no chance of winning. Odin laughed as Yiusi passed him, he knew this could happen, just would rather have avoided it. "If you don't fight, I'll kill you." Odin let the words sink in as he continued staring straight. "Not only will I kill you though, I'll kill everyone in the village near here." Odin would never actually follow through with what he said, well... maybe the first part, all he wanted to do right now was provoke Yiusi. |

| Yiusi half-turns her head toward Odin behind her. "Zerodius was scarier than you. That is because he taught me of something very important; individuality. He said it cannot be taken from me. Whether you kill me or not doesn't matter; you'll never get me willingly, and that makes it a no-gain for you." Suddenly, Yiusi gets a private telepathic message from Guardian. "Yiusi, he's not out to kill you. He's just trying to sound intimidating. Trust me." "Hmm... Explain, Guardian." "He's just in the mood to spar. Now don't take him up on the offer yet... Wait until the opportunity shows itself. You don't want him to think you're uncanny. Yet." Yiusi smiles at that last comment, and now fully turns around to face Odin. She calmly walks up to him and holds out her hand. "Yiusi here. Can I help you?" Her voice is as innocent as ever. |

| "..." Odin started to laugh at how Yiusi just shrugged off the threat and obviously found it to be an empty threat. "Well, at least I know you aren't stupid..." Odin gave a nervous smile, he knew that he couldn't act tough to make someone fight this time around, he had to actually let them chose to fight. He really didn't like these types of things going down to the choice of anyone besides himself. He always had been able to get people to fight with hardly one sentence. "Ok, lets just skip the entire introductions parts and I'll get down to the basic fact of why I need you to fight." Odin paused for a second, trying to think of the best way to put it. "I can't fight a person who isn't willing to fight, I need to know every type of skill that anyone can use, you have an unknown skill, so really, it is better if we just fight to get this out of the way and avoid me having to somehow trick you into fighting. Sound good?" Odin waited for a reply. "... What an idiot." Star almost fell to the ground laughing. Odin didn't know how to start a fight besides acting like a tough guy, and if he still hadn't learned about every type of power, he might be in trouble. OOC I just realized something, non creative characters can't really do all that much to Origin. Since he is trying to learn about every type of magical thing, he knows the basic "powers" making them weaker on him. |

| Yiusi smiles. "You are an honest person. Just a moment..." She turns around to silently communicate with her Guardian. "Who is this Odin guy? First he threatens to kill off a village, now he's all admitting he's all talk and just wants to spar because... Remind me why?" "Yiusi, if you and I want to learn anything about him, the best way is to face him in a spar. Oracles are too complex to be learned of easily, anyway. He'll have a tough time gathering data about the Yiusi Ball, anyway..." "Okay. Wish me luck." Yiusi turns around again to face Odin and steps back about ten paces. "Okay, you and I will spar. Learn as best you can, okay? "Okay... Yiusi Ball, come out!" She holds her right hand up and does a circular motion with her left. Instantly, small white spheres begin to fly out of her right arm and hover above her right hand. The spheres merge together, and soon they have formed a softball-sized orb of cream-colored, glowing, gel-like energy. It is a ball of Oracle energy known as the Yiusi Ball. Yiusi has called her Guardian out into weapon-form. "You attack first," Yiusi says, careful not to reveal her plan. By calling out the Yiusi Ball, she has automatically activated her secret ability, which takes effect in exactly 12 turns whether she likes it or not. |

| "... Your up to something, no one just lets themself be attacked." Odin stepped forward carefully and took a running position. "Dragon Rush!" Odin dashed at Yiusi at a very fast speed practically hovering above the ground. As he closed in, he jumped into the air so he was parrallel to the ground. He pointed his left hand forward in a fist, the one without the sword, and started spining on a crash corse with Yiusi. "You should've taken the first shot." |

| Yiusi quickly holds the Yiusi Ball upward to let it take the hit. As she is hit, she is knocked backward and to the ground, but the Yiusi Ball, having been hit by most of the attack as well... is glowing a little brighter for some reason. "Great, Yiusi, I got his biological data!" "Ssh, I need to concentrate." The Yiusi Ball has gathered a portion of life data from the target by being hit with an attack. Oracle Energy is very peculiar; it studies anything it touches and then changes form to interact with those things better. Guardian, in Yiusi Ball form, is attempting to gather data of attacks so it can conjure up the perfect defense or counter to them in the future. That's the strategy Yiusi uses in battle. "Watch. I don't play aggressively." Yiusi throws the Yiusi Ball at Odin after his landing; halfway to him it increases in speed. After it hits or misses, the ball reverses direction and flies right back into Yiusi's hand. A direct Yiusi Ball attack should cause medium damage. Yiusi half-expects Odin to mock her if she hits him, since the attack isn't nearly as powerful as Odin's Dragon Rush, which DID hit her, after all... |

| Odin showed his speed again as he came to a sudden halt in time to see the Yiusi Ball coming at him. He could already see a vauge outline of a tactic somewhere, but he decided against dodging. He thrusted his hand outwards as the Yiusi Ball hit it and flew back. "You're holding back. Being able to create and control that energy should make it much stronger than that." Odin remembered what he'd learned on his own. Most people didn't start off with a strong attack, but chose to lure their opponet into a false sense of security. He'd been on the bad end of that a few times and wasn't going to fall for it this time. "If you don't fight at your strongest all the time, you'll have no chance against me, because I won't hold anything back." Odin leaped into the air and pointed his sword at Yiusi. "Blade of Destruction!" A blast of energy shot through the air towards Yiusi, but as it came closer it looked off course, aimed at the ground under her feet instead of her. As the beam hit the ground, the ground exploded in a 5 foot area. |

| "Here it comes..." "Here it comes..." Yiusi and Yiusi Ball share the very same thoughts as the attack closes in. They are one... in a way. Yiusi is not capable of backflips or aerial tricks like the extremely focused, in-control Schwa, but she does pack quite a mystical defense. She runs forward and, holding the Yisui Ball outward, actually runs into the blast, taking it full on. Once again she is knocked down, but gets up. "Yiusi! No need to overdo it... He'll think something is suspicious. Although I did gather quite a portion of life data from that..." "Just doing it for you. Besides, I feel our bond beginning to build again... Just like in our fight against Zerodius." "But of course! When the bond is strong enough, we gain the power to merge into Prism Form, remember?" "Yes! That's an awesome, downright cosmic feeling. I hunger for it almost." Yiusi faces Odin again, and decides to throw him off guard. "I'll keep you busy for a while," she says to him. Moving her hands in a circle above her head, a shimmering, magenta light appears in midair behind her, and in 2 seconds the light has formed into a wavering portal. To finish her technique, she holds the ball in both her hands, points it at Odin, and lets go. It flies at Odin like before, only much faster and it makes a cannon-firing sound when she lets go. The attack does only a little more damage at this speed. Once again, hit or miss, the ball will fly back to Yiusi's hand. The merge will take place in at least 10 turns. |

| OOC Since I'll probably use Blade of Destruction again, just to let you know, it passes through living things, dealing no damage, and keeps its course straight at the ground, where ever it was pointed. Odin, being in the air, had no chance to dodge and took a hit in the chest. He flipped backwards, but somehow managed to land on his feet. "I'm not stupid, don't fight if you aren't going to do it at your full. If you keep running into my attacks, you'll be killed." Odin pointed his sword again at Yiusi, but he didn't attack. "I'll give you the chance to redeem yourself, fight strong now, because at this rate, you'll only last 7 more minutes. (turns.)" |

| OOC: Well, in that case, the explosion caught her on her way down. "I have some advice for you. Don't question my ability. How do you know if I'm fighting at full-power or not? Not everyone has an uber-attack. I say it is YOU who needs to fight stronger." Yiusi pats her Yiusi Ball. She feels the new strength inside of it, the data gained from getting hit from both attacks. As she touches it, the knowledge and wisdom flows through her, giving her a relaxed feeling. She's ready for ANYthing now! |

"I suggest you attack now, or I might make this a quick end.[" Odin relaxed his sword, but kept moving forward, watching Yiusi, he needed her to actually attack, if she just kept fighting like this, he wouldn't get what he needed. He couldn't waste this opportunity. |

| "You don't get it, do you?" Yiusi says, laughing brightly. "My attacks are all more useful than any of yours! Each one puts a piece of my puzzle together, as it does when you attack me and the Ball absorbs some of the damage. "Brace yourself! Here comes!" Yiusi throws the ball again, and as it approaches, it changes to a purple color. It will hit for heavy damage, but the recipitent doesn't feel pain until WAY later as the Ball attempts to fool Odin into thinking it's weak. THAT is where Odin's weakness lies, and each time the ball hit Odin or Yiusi was hit, life data was gathered, until the Ball had enough data to automatically pinpoint the target where it was weakest. Still, the Ball is operating at minimal effeciency compared to what it can do when even more data is gathered. Yiusi catches the ball as it comes back to her after it attempts to strike. "Don't go by only what you see," she warns with a smile. |

| Odin dodged the ball with a quick roll to the side. He wanted to laugh, but he knew that if he gave in to thinking he was superior he would just end up in a bad situation. "I do get it, but if you are just allowing the ball to scan me and predict what I'll do and how strong it will be. You will stand no chance." Odin rushed forward with that incredible speed again, but this time as he got near Yiusi, he spun around and tried to kick Yiusi. "Destuctive Kick!" As the kick went through, the path it made exploded, so if it hit Yiusi, she got caught in the center of the explosion. Odin landed and tried to look through the dust to see if he had hit Yiusi. "I have enough attacks to keep you guessing all day. Your stratigy won't work well against me." |

| As Odin charges, the Yiusi Ball levitates beside her... and a phantom image of Odin is barely visible around the ball, but only for a split second. What could that mean? As Odin attacks, the ball changes to a blue color, and Yiusi holds her hands up to block. She is caught in the explosion, but she doesn't seem incredibly damaged when the dust clears. "On the contrary. See, I play defensively rather than aggresively. The Yiusi Ball not only seeks out the target's weak-point, it conjures the ultimate defense to your basic battle style! You specialize in offense, it seems, so the ball is giving me a 25% defense upgrade as long as you attack me!" Yiusi doesn't tell Odin that there is one flaw to the Ball; it cannot do two things at the same time. If Yiusi was caught while the ball was already off doing some other tactic, it would be a full-on hit. And Yiusi has no armor! Yiusi tries a new tactic. She throws the ball again, but something different happens. "Yiusi Pyro!" The ball, after reaching halfway to the target, combusts into a fireball that spreads out into many, many small embers, covering a wide area of effect in front of it for small fire-damage. The embers can burn on the ground for a while, and when they go out, the Yiusi Ball will reappear back in her hand, seemingly out of nowhere. And at that moment, something happens with the magenta portal as well. "Ah! It's ready!" The portal expands for a moment, and out flies an eagle-sized, light-blue dragon with butterfly wings. The portal then closes. The dragon flies to Yiusi and hovers behind her. "This is a Fairy Dragon, a pretty powerful summoned creature," Yiusi explains. "It will be aiding me for a while. Almost forgot about that." 7 turns before the transformation. |

| Odin jumped at the embers, getting through them quickly, but still feeling a burn here and there. He landed heavily, trying to ignore the embers that got in his armor. "..." Odin stepped forward slowly, not really in a threatening way at all. As he got within 10 feet he just stopped. |

| "You do not frighten me, warrior," Yiusi explains. "Nobody frightens me, except my own power which I know I have yet to discover." Yiusi moves her hand in an elipse, and a dark-purple sphere appears in the spot Odin is standing within 2 seconds. Without moving out of the way, he would be engulfed. Anything caught inside the sphere takes continuous damage, until the sphere disappears after 20 seconds. (Things can move in and out of the sphere like air.) The sphere is classified as a type of portal, but it's more like a vortex than a portal. The owl-sized, cyan dragon also takes to the air and begins to fly high circles around Odin. 6 seconds after Yiusi's attack, the Fairy Dragon fires a blast of Holy energy from it's mouth, about the size of the Yiusi Ball, which flies toward Odin's position at that moment. |

| Odin doesn't move, but starts to laugh. The energy in the portal begins to twist oddly, but it is gone before anything happens. Odin watched the dragon attack and still stayed in the same spot, taking a full hit. Odin laughed as he was being hit, his armor look a little scorched, but not much changed about him. "*laughter*" Odin dashed towards Yiusi, attempting a heavy slash at Yiusi. Odin moved at the incredible pace that he always kept. |
