You still don't have one?! Jeeez, I knew you didn't have one before, but that was like a year ago when I found out (or something like that).

No GT4 game looks real to life than GT4, no other game out there for that matter.

And what's wrong with driving how you play? I drive the same way I drive in GTA.

If my driving in racing games was the same as how I drove.... well, assuming that I kept the same skill when I get a license in the future... I'd lose said license before I got out of the car dealership. Actually, I'm not too bad with Mario Kart: Double Dash!! but could someone use the skill learnt from an unrealistic game such as that to drive?

You gotta wonder if that's a keepsake for the kid's life. Maybe he'll end up going to Indy when it's all said and done. Could be a sign, you know.

Around four years ago, my uncle was at my house for one reason or another. We ended up playing Mario Kart 64, and he drove like a drunkard. Totally incomprehensible, steering left when he meant to steer right, going up against the wall and so on. I mean, this guy could just plain not keep his ass on the road in Moo Moo Farm. First thing next morning he participated on behalf of his company in a rally in Mantorp (where they hold amongst other things STCC finals). He won.

So yeah, the two are not the same. You can be good at Counterstrike and miss a barn from the inside with a rocket launcher, too.

...and I do wonder, how did he even get in the car. Was it open or was he left behind in it? And how did he start it on it's own? He is very long or what? Or was it already running...

I'm doubting, mostly becuse I have seen stories a few too many times now. And news sites love to reuse "fake stories" sometimes.

I'm not saying it's fake, but it might be.

hmm...i doubt it is fake because it is from the associated press--not unless there is a story they have botched?

Umm, how old is your car, Anya? 10-15 years?

I bet the cop got surprised when the kid rammed him.

My dad got the car in 1990, early 1991. I got the car in 1999, so it's 15 years old. It would have died sooner, but we took good care of it.

Haha, no. I found that out myself. The physics in even the most realistic games are nothing like real life (since that wouldn't be as fun ), and using a controller doesn't help you get a feel for the sensitivity of the wheel and pedals. Plus you don't get Mushrooms.

car simulators aren't that good...because they don't give you true 3D perception. I've played racing sims before but it isn't anything like the real thing....

anyways, I wonder what this kid will be when he grows up...
