I fail to see what "sucks" about it. I like it because the application is smaller, so it makes it easier on my slow computer.

IE:

1.Reads HTML incorrectly usually.
2.Is big and bulky and uncustomizable.
3.Pop up blocker not automatic, and even with an external blocker, pop ups abound.
4.I am sure more people can add to this

Firefox:

1.Built in pop up blocking
2.I have dial up, but Firefox makes it seem like DSL with its caching options.
3.Customizable with Plugins, Themes

I am sure IE is good for a slow computer with no ram or memory or speed or cd drive. Newer computers need new programs, so Firefox is amazing.

IE=Old and Busted Firefox=New Hotness

Actually FireFox seems to read pages incorrectly a lot more than IE does. At least from what I've experianced.

The ones that come up wrong on Firefox are as follows:

1.Sites made with frontpage.

2.Sites that say "You arent using IE"

3.Sites that are coded wrong to begin with.

You just described about 70% of the sites on the net. If I want to view those sites in the way the author ment for them to be viewed, then I gotta use IE. So to see 70% of the sites on the net, I need IE. Simple as that.

Seeing as how I dont care about viewing things in the way the author meant for them to be viewed, I'll stick with Opera. It runs nice on my computer. I'd use Dillo if it would actually work with anything.

There are way too many FireFox fanboys out there. Just face the fact that FireFox is good in some situations, while IE is better in others. And even in some situations, they are completely unsuitable and you need to use Opera.

I dont really think that any browser "sucks". I just think some are better for certain purposes. Even Links has a purpose. If it's all just one big text thing, blind people's programs will have an easier time reading things out loud to them.

So if you cant see that every browser is different for different situations, then you are a fanboy and fanboys need to be smacked.

IE's cache sucks. Get over it.

Well, Firefox loads things from cache faster than IE at least from what I have seen. Especially if there is alot of pictures on a page.

Firefox, becuse I find it more smooth than IE. Althought I do prefer IE on low-end computers.

And oh, keep in mind that most sites was designed after IE. If all was designed after Firefox it would be IE which would be glitching. I have seen more nifty things that can be done with Firefox and CSS, but the same CSS code is not supported by IE.

And before anyone complains that Firefox sucks becuse of combitliaty problems with a certain site, post that in their forum and which site that aren't loading correctly. People should contribute instead of whining...

Nebetsu, after reading that, i respect you.

And Kitten Yiffer, both seem to load cache at the same speed.

Only reasons not to use FF would be that it loads like 2 seconds slower than IE and that it takes a whole while to work after being minimized for a few hours (not the case if you actually close it when you're done).

I'm not a fanboy, I am just sharing my experience. FROM MY EXPERIENCE, IE loads from cach slower than Firefox. FROM MY EXPERIENCE, IE just doesn't work as well as Firefox. FROM MY EXPERIENCE, IE doesn't have skins, windows does, but not IE itself.

Neb, you sound like a IE fanboy yourself. "Just face the fact that FireFox is good in some situations, while IE is better in others." Yeah, I know that. I have to use IE everytime I want to to windows update. That is the only reason I ever use IE, nothing has ever gone wrong with firefox before. So, from my experience, IE sucks and Firefox is awesome.

IE got that too.

Where, exactly? I don't recall IE having any sort of theme feature, and the only plugins there are is a few shitty obscure toolbars, 99.999999462% of which are spyware.
