The Pay-to-View structure really bit both GameSpot and IGN in the butt though. How did it work... I think GS was "you have to pay to see reviews that are more than 7 days old" and IGN was "you have to pay to see reviews that aren't 7 days old yet".  Needless to say, neither of those systems exist anymore.  |

| Well there are still good RPG specific sites out there that I like and check over often, RPGfan.com, RPGamer.com, and a few others. Oh, and don't you just love the ads that "pop up" when you hover over them? Or the ones that consume the screen and you can't find the "X" to close it? | Indeed. The only good gaming sites out there are game specific, which, sucks major ass. And there isn't one good Halo 2 fansite.  |

| Well, I don't care about banner ads, I know whoever owns it has to keep it up somehow, just, advertising goes way too far sometimes (see "IGN", "Gamespy"). |
