Shortly after the crash I tried to find some of my posts in the Google cache, but I couldn't find any.  Unfortunately, the board is set up so that robots will not follow links. That is why Google and the WayBack machine don't have many pages from the board. They had old pages and pages that were linked from other sites in thier index, but not new ones. I thought about creating "spiderbait" pages that link to large numbers of thread URLs. The spiderbait pages would then be submited to Google and Alexia. I didn't do it because I thought that it might cause trouble. BTW, I wonder how many times the database has been backed up so far. |

Didn't got any old thread which I was interested in by Google and its "In cache" option when showing the results ... but when the restoration of the old board database advances, we'll be able to see at least some older threads sooner or later on an alternate host ... for viewing purposes okay, especially dealing for the ROM hackers  |

Did go into offline mode the day after the big crash, and saved some stuff. Including how my profile did look 3-4 hours before the big deletion...
