I noticed that before the update, that we you edit your post, once you're finished, it'll take you back to that post. But now when I edit a post, it'll take me back to the first page of the thread, like it used to way back in the day. It's a tad annoying, I could deal with it this way, but having it redirect you back to the post that you edited, is much, much, better.

Mmm... Anya... <3 <3 <3

Er...

Interesting. I guess I don't post in enough multi-page threads to notice. And now I'll have to check and see if it does it on my board, too...

Edit
*stabbeths self* When you edit a post, not reply. Sorry, little brain dead. Been helping my daughter with her math homework, and math makes me

Edit2
Hmm... it seems that if you edit on a single-page thread, it just takes you to the thread as though you clicked on the link to read the thread. It seems that a # is missing from the URL. Should be easy to fix...

Of course it'll take you to the right page, since if the thread only has one page and the thread you're going to only has one thread... well,

Also, I'm sure it has something to do with their attempt to change it to use the post link feature, and they failed miserably. Whoops

(note: I know what's wrong, I believe. They kind of forgot to remote the ID number from the thread.php arguments...)

Edit: that's exactly what they did. They took it out for some reason and decided to make it use the "Link" feature. Did they forget "If it's not broken, don't fix it"? They broke it again

We were actually getting suggestions to redirect using the Link feature. Is it broken now or what?

Yes, very broken, and I don't see why you would even bother to change it to use that feature, given that all it did was use standard redirection and two pages (yes, there is a page in between, it presumably sends header("Location: "...);

Once again, I say don't fix what isn't broken, especially if you change nothing and it has nothing to do with anything

(18:37:28) wootest mac: =D
(18:37:53) Zem: also, clicking "sent" while looking at a sent PM, last I checked, also doesn't send you to the right place
(18:39:01) wootest mac: sum up all bugs you know of and send them to wootest+abbugs@gmail.com
(18:39:33) Zem: okay, I'll have to go through my old PMs sent to you and find all the ones I told you about. >=D

Found the bug - it used pid instead of pl as the parameter to thread.php. pl is what the Link feature uses. It's fixed, nevertheless.

"UPDATE: I just noticed another one, edit notices are not adjusted to your set time. I guess I'll have to send an add-on." Intended behavior - it's stored as a string, for whatever reason. We adjust everything that's stored as a timestamp in the database, and this is not.
