If you eat pancakes, what kind of pancakes do you eat the most? Do you put butter, jelly, or syrup on them? Or maybe you put all three? Most of the time, I'll eat just regular plain pancakes with light syrup. I don't put much else on them though. I've only eaten blueberry pancakes a few times. Any weird pancake "flavors" you guys have eaten or heard of?

What a coincidence. It's just about supper time, and we're having pancakes I eat plain pancakes, normal syrup, and nothing else special Boring stuff, I guess, but I like it, and it's worked fine whenever we've had them so far

I try not to go overboard when it comes to adding stuff to them, but I do find myself adding chocolate chips and other sugary crap to them sometimes.

I looove pancakes.

I like butter and syrup, and adding some kind of fruit to them is really good too. And if Im in the mood, putting chocolate chips in the batter is delicious.

One I heard of and never want to try... it was all the different berries mixed together. It sounded pretty disgusting, but who knows.

Generally, I have a little bit of syrup on them, more syrup if I'm having sausage with the pancakes (which I usually am). It's rare that we have pancakes, though, since mom and grandma don't wake up until around lunchtime, and I'm not usually awake until a few hours after that.

Sofie would know.

I like regular pancakes with syrup. I *REALLY* like flavored syrup but you can't get that at too many grocery stores here.

I remember going to IHOP in the States on vacation and having their syrup.

oMG Colleen made a funny!!!

I take my pancakes with butter and with butter-milk syrup. That's about it, really. I've never really mixed anything with then, but I have tried blue berry pancakes (they were okay) but I'll take the simple, old fashion way. Oh, and I tend to eat them during any time of the day.

Well, belgian-style (slim, wide) pancakes: strawberry jelly. American (thick, dense (if you read any pun into that, it's not intended)) pancakes: either of strawberry jelly and whipped cream OR syrup.

I've only eaten those slim, wide ones, and I only use sugar. Boring, maybe, but then, I do not eat pancakes very often.

I don't eat pancakes often either. I like them, and I always have batter, but I always screw up one side of the pancake. I don't know what I do wrong.. the first side I cook always looks nice, and then I flip it.. =\

Homemade pancakes, I just use butter. I'm not big on syrup.
When I go to a restaraunt.. well, I rarely order pancakes, but when I do I like to get some fancy fruit thing. I used to always get chocolate chip pancakes until I had a little experience with an IHOP in Los Angeles. Never again.

I enjoy pancakes, but I'm also wary of them now. I used to absolutely love pancakes.

Then I went to a place we have here called "The Pancake Kitchen". This place is open 24 hours. I used to go there a bit, and I used to think it was a good place.

Until I had "It". "It" (as it was actually called on the menu) was pancakes with caramelised banana, caramel, ice cream and pecan nuts on the top of it. It tasted awesome.....

"It" gave me food poisoning.

I was sick for a week, I couldn't eat, I could barely get fluids down. I wound up in hospital on an IV.

Now I will only eat pancakes with maple syrup and whipped butter. And the mere thought of any other pancake makes my stomach do flips. The mere thought of caramel and banana together also makes me feel ill.

I was like that with Skittles once - I ate some and became quite ill for a few days when I was maybe 7 or 8. It took me around 4 years before I could stomach the sight of them.

I went to a nice crepe place a few weeks ago; similar enough to pancakes at any rate. You'd probably like that place better because they use *fresh* ingredients for all their recipes - and they also have some rather strange crepes. (Salsa on a crepe, anyone?)

Gotta have maple syrup as I said - after all, I am in Quebec. Between here and Vermont you have enough maple syrup to kill all the diabetics in the world.

You don't even live in Los Angeles.

But.. I don't know. It's not like I got some disgusting stomach illness, it just was not a pancake. I guess its what happened if you knocked a bunch of random ingredients in the pancake batter. I can't explain the taste. It was terrible.
IHOP sort of sucks anyway.
