| This is a copy from somewhere else....my idea to make a HL1 mod, called Nintendo Wars this is just an IDEA at the moment, I want to know what people think. Basically, This mod will have several Nintendo characters, and they will be in an all out war with each other, it will feature 2 main game modes, Deathmatch, and Teamplay, more modes will follow.. ------------------------------ Main Characters will include: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Link, Peach, Captain Falcon, Bowser, Wario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Ganondorf, and lastly Waluigi since there isnt an equal amount of good and bad characters, there will be an evil version of each good character, and vice versa for the evil, all this will be is a skin change, either color of their clothes, or some new clothes, this hasnt been decided yet. ------------------------------ There will be no single player, only multiplayer...the server dll will be distributed along with the client dll, so people may create servers, so they can either practice, or create one and wait for players to join, for mappers, the fgd will be released for custom maps. ------------------------------ Each character will have between 4 and 5 powers, these are their weapons, the characters start with all of them, but, they can be upgraded, with a unique upgrade system, which counts on kills and deaths, each character will also have a special ability, such as Mario being able to wall jump, and Kirby being Able to Float temporarily. ------------------------------ In Teamplay mode, their will be Good Vs. Evil, in which good characters fight evil characters. Deathmatch will just be a free for all where everyone can hurt, and kill each other. Remember, All Nintendo characters, are Copyrights of Nintendo, and I or any team member does not own them....if Nintendo requests we stop this, it will happen, and we will make all the characters original, and not stop work on the mod, a name change will also occur. Well lets see whats the problem here. Oh! 75% of every HL mod made fails and is never heard of agian.  Also its not really original. Anyways if you want my suggestion? Make a skin of you fav. nintendo char. and adapt him for many HL mods.(edited by Shady Milkman on 01-24-05 10:19 PM) |

| this is very very different from SSB, and SSBM....its 3D, first person, customizable maps for people who can make maps, etc... and its on the PC...so see how its different. not to mention, you can play against people who are anywhere, and have half-life. (edited by ? |

| indeed, he will be allowed to swallow enemies, but, to make it even, if he swallows you, you can hurt him from the inside, until he spits you out, or swallows you and turns you into an egg, and to swallow, it takes a few seconed, 10 probably, just to even it out. |
