Well I've beaten the original Battletoads with a friend, so I'm sure I'm ready for difficult.

That's probably the big thing, as long as you've beaten that. At least here you don't have to worry about a bike scene (if I recall correctly).

Thank goodness, those were probably the hardest levels next to the one with that giant rat chasing you down this one level, in the original.

Yea that was probably the only thing that kept me from beating it originally, that and the glitchy one where you go around in every angle on a ride (can't play it 2P, it glitches out for some reason, bug).

And don't worry about it; it's activity.
