| Hey, this is Josh from the old Matt And Josh duo. My brother and I hacked a bunch of roms back in the day and for old times sake I was wondering if anyone has or knows where to find some of those old hacks, like Super Yoshi Brothers and the updated SMB1 graphics hack. There were some others, but I can't recall them. We also did some hacks of some GB and GBColor roms, so if anyone knows where to find those as well, that'd be cool. | Goodness! Yoshi's Adventure (going by the GoodNES name) was quite an inspiration for my "Yoshi" hack [of Super Mario Bros.] which never really materialized. I still have a copy of that. But really, anyone with a complete GoodNES set should, as well. (I don't actually have a complete set. Or anywhere near complete.) | Yeah, Yoshi's Adventure. Where you start as an egg and get a mushroom to hatch. I'm glad you liked it. I'm not really sure what "GoodNES" is a reference to, as I've been out of the rom hacking thing for some time now. Is that a rom hacking team or utility? And Kasper, yes. That was Matt and myself. We both equally worked at it as there were a lot of oddly placed animation sectors, and we had to find out which sectors supported which animations. Could you guys send me these roms? | I'm afraid asking for ROMs is a bit against the rules of the forums. The best I can do is provide you with an IPS patch for the original ROM. (GoodNES is a utility for catalogging released NES ROMs It can verify and sort ROMs, as well as list the ROMs you do and do not have. | Parasyte I have a Yoshi hack that you start out as an egg, & hatch into a Yoshi, & the level palette is green, & Yoshi throws eggs instead of fireballs. Is that the right one? | I don't think so. It says "By Matt-Josh" under the title screen, and the level palette is not green. |

| Parasyte, that's the hack I'm looking for. If you could send that, super cool. Googie, thanks for the e-mail. Toad's Crazy Castle is better than I remember. The Yoshi hack is one of ours, but not quite the one I'm looking for. The one you sent is one we did with a dude named "TeMpEs", who contributed level graphics. It was still cool to see it again. Thanks, dude. Parasyte, the one you have is the final version of a different approach to it. We made the Yoshi animations fit much better with the game and the colors are a lot smoother and make more sense. Anyway, there are still a few others that I've wanted to see again, but can't seem to remember them at all. I believe we did a few other Mario hacks. If you know anything on those, super cool.
