I maintain that none of those "so bad they're awesome" movie killed off a wrestling federation like Rollerball did.  As far as anime goes, the fact it was based on a video game was pretty much the only thing that kept the Tekken movie from completely sucking. |

| Actually, I'm now starting to become convinced that the new videogame movie, "Alone in the Dark", deserves an honor for being the worst movie ever. I didn't see it, and I sure as hell don't want to see it, judging from the ovation it got curtesy of Yahoo! Movies, and no, I'm NOT talking about the critics reviews. I personally don't give a fuck what the critics think. They're usually bashing the new movies to come out, anyway (even Blade: Trinity, which was SLAMMED by the critics, I thought was a marvelous flick; hell, I'd see it again, and I sure as hell can't wait for the DVD). It's the user reviews I'm after, and yet they ALL say the same thing... It sucks. Don't see it.  |

| I saw the movie "Alone in the Dark' and wow. It is probably one of the worst movies I've seen. Lack of a plot is for one. Lack of credible acting is another. I mean, it tried to start off fast but crashed under the script material which involves some damn ancient people which they repeat the name over and over and over and how they openend a door and demons/monster came out, etc... Christian Slater: "This cave is dark" Tara Reid: "The [insert ancient people] were great builders who...blah blah blah... I mean, geez, what the hell was the movie suppose to be? A horror movie? Action movie? A comedy? It was more of a comedy than anything, it made me laugh with how bad it was. |

| I actually thought Blade 3 (trinity) sucked major horse balls from outer fucking space. I've never seen so bad acting and so badly written lines, and I'm a person that usually doesn't even care or notice. But this took the cake back to kansas. Holy christ, Wesley is his usual badass self but the rest is fucking stupid. I've never seen any movie use so bad sidekicks. And what's the deal with using the chick from seventh heaven as the "badass sidekick girl"? Doesn't make sense. And she didn't even look badass, she looked pussy. Probably has to be the worst (action) movie I've seen in a while. And Cube rocks, even the sequel rocks. Cube 1 is a classic. It got overrun by shitty movies that year but boy is it good. |

Contrary to what you think of her, she did a good job in Trinity as she has done in all of her predecessors. I sent her my regards on her website, but anyways, enough fawning about Jessica, and time to get down to the actual movie part. King? I agree with you there... to a certain extent. I personally don't think his brief lack of intelligence he has shown in the movie very well suits the character, or the movie for that matter. But at the same time, the acting, while flawed in several key points (for some reason, I don't find his obsession of the words "fuck" and "dick" very intruging), was also exploited magnificently in others. I must say the "Fuck me... fuck me sideways" phrase cracked me up pretty good, as did everyone else in the theater. And he put up a pretty good fight with "the Game" at one part in the movie, too. Few are those who get to team up with a pro wrestling icon in one scene, even and especially a heel like HHH, it's still got to feel good, and I know Reynolds had no problem collaborating with him on that scene judging from the interviews I've read of him. Best Blade movie? No. But certainly not a bad one, either. There were a few flaws here and there, but it was rather entertaining, and that's the point of movies, isn't it? It's just one of those movies that keeps getting better and better as the movie progresses. It doesn't get REALLY good until it gets closer to the very end. It had a rather slow beginning, yet a very intruging end battle between Blade and Drake/Dracula, which tells you that there WILL be either a Trinity sequel and/or a Nightstalkers spin-off, and quite frankly, either one's fine by me, better yet, both. I don't know who the next villian would be in Blade 4, though... they might just be better off making a Nightstalkers spin-off that strays (almost) completely away from the original Blade story line and gives a fresh start to an already rehashed series. Too many sequels=bad. Just look at the Matrix and where it left off with the Third movie, which was utter crap in my humble opinion. The whole her was a ripoff of elektra. And a bow? What's up with a bow? There are guns now, and they can shoot the same shit that bow can, faster. And yeah, I think she got the part because some people consider her hot or whatever. Because she can not, in any goddamn way, act. Oh, and lets not forget her iPod. .. I don't think I even need to say anything about it. Holy crap XD Or like this guy said at a forum; "The plot is ridiculous, the actors are incredibly bad and the dialogues are disatrous. snipes seems not to be very keen of playing his role again, reynolds is just a big joke and dracula looks like backstreet junkie. not even the effects and action scenes are well done. almost seems like they let a sadistic teenager direct this movie - this is not blade anymore!" Or this one; "This movie is an utter piece of crap. The acting is horrible except for a few good one-liners from Snipes. The story never develops into anything coherent. The writing is so God-awful. There is even a line about penis envy. I could not believe what I was hearing. How do people get paid to write such crap? HHH, Jesica Biel, Kris Kristofferson and Ryan Reynolds are all so horrible in this. Hence not being "badass" enough for you, I don't think they meant for her to look 'badass' in this film in any way, shape, or form. Or Reynolds for that matter. They are SECONDARY characters. Since when did the secondary characters have as big a say in a movie role as the main character? I didn't think too highly of Renold's acting in this movie, and it's safe to say that they purposefully molded his character in this movie just to be funny, all those cheesy lines and performances, though at times, it DID make me laugh. I must say. "WHAT... THE... FUCK?!!?!!" As for the bow and the iPod. While I do agree that the iPod thing was rather pointless, the bow conception was just to add something new to look forward to. The only problem I had with this movie was the main focus was more on the Nightstalkers and the villians (mainly Drake) than Blade himself. This is supposed to be a Blade movie, not a Nightstalkers spin-off. The title "Nightstalkers" is more suiting than something along the lines of "Blade: Trinity" for this movie. |

| The only movies I can think of that I've watched and hated: Scary Movie 3 Spider-Man 2 The Matrix Reloaded (I think that's the second one...I skipped the 3rd one from total apathy following the 2nd.) Stigmata Panic Room Darkness Falls I can name about 50 more that I never watched because of being almost certainly worse than all of those. |
