I believe that having some work stress applied to your body constantly in a workout is good. Also, not all fats are bad:If you want to gain muscle mass, you must eat enough dietary fat. Dietary fats play an essential role in hormone production, which in turn is responsible for growth and strength increases. I have never gained muscle on a low fat diet, though many people still believe that eating fat makes you fat. This is absolutely false. In fact, there is a very popular muscle gain diet that been around for years, called the "Anabolic Diet" that requires you to eat only fat! Butter, bacon, and heavy cream are all on the menu. Though quite extreme, this diet does work. |

I was wondering what was the best way to define muscles in other words "cut them up". I prefer definition over size Sion, you need to lose the body fat if you want to have more definition without increasing size. They'll be a limit though, because you can't choose where you lose the fat from, it'll be lost proportionally around your body. Anyone who tells you that you can 'spot reduce' or 'lose fat from target areas' is bullshitting you. GRAVITEH: ..I'm not sure about that...some of your points sound very wrong. I'll check with dietetics before I conclude further. (BTW bacon is a lot of protein) |

Ok. I've read up slightly on the issue of stretch marks. Back when I was 14, I used to ride my bike constantly, for upwards of 8 hours a day and I started to develop stretch marks. Well they "seemed" to go away when I started to rapidly gain weight... Well, I've read that stretch marks only show up due to rapid stretching of the skin, via weight gain, preganancy, weight training, what have you and that weight loss just loosens the skin so that stretch marks become more appareant. Anyways, I'm starting to show stretch marks on my love handles and especially around my belly area. I haven't been eating more than normal, if anything I'm eating less. I've really kicked my DDR habit into high gear. I haven't really noticed a dip in my waist line nor does the scales say I weigh less, so I'm wary on whether I should take this as a sign of weight loss. I'm just wondering if anyone else here has lost weight and had appareance of stretch marks from doing so. Experience is greater than anything I could read on a medical website, really. |

I've got that going for myself with DDR. The whole problem is while I lose weight and get stretch marks, I gain that much back with muscle mass. So really, I'm not really losing any weight, I'm just getting better with my overall health. But I guess slightly over 200 isn't that bad for my weight...but I wouldn't mind dropping 15 or 20 just to say I did. I've got a tire as it is. |

Did this just recently get unstickied? Fine timing for my question. I'm looking for some recipe of this dish I love, but I don't remember the name or anything. My mom's made it for me twice. I bet she got it online. It's like, eggs, cheese, spinach, sausage.. maybe onions and ham. I don't remember, my mind is fuzzy. I've never seen her prepare it, but she puts it all in this pan and cooks it in the oven and it's cool. A big eggy cheesy thing. I don't like spinach, but it actually works out here. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'd love to have it again. |
