| "That energy you took is basically my life force. You see I am the imbodyment of dark fire, but the energy is what keeps me alive. If you take that energy and if is the last of the energy then I will come back wih it. That would probably kill you. So what I need you to do is give that energy to me." Dark Pheonix glows with an even wierder glow making it look like there is a force stopping light, and making it stand still. |

| "Sorry, Pheonix, but that energy is long gone. When I absorb the energy of dark flames, it converts that energy into mana and leaves the flame part of the flame regular. And no, it could never kill me because this is a skill most people of my race have developed. Just not as skillfully as I. I don't go out of my way to absorb dark flames, but I only do it if necessary. "I don't understand your story very well. Would you please tell me some specific details? For example, how can dark flames be your life-force?" |

| "You see long ago there was a mass of dark flames that ended up on earth from somewhere. Then they spred throughout the earth and no one could stop it. Everyone that tried died and that was how it was, but a great wizard sacrificed himself to the flames to give it form and thought. That was me in a way, but the difference was I was completely human. Then some of the dark flames still were on the earth and searched me out, because I had most of the flames in my body. Soon they found me, and they consumed me and gave me this form. People have converted it before to many different things, but I was destroyed once completely and I came back from someone who used it as power. He was destroyed by the sudden burst of power." Dark Pheonix floated a few feet in the air again while he was telling the story. |

| Rocka is silent for a while. He's thinking about the story he just heard. Finally he says, "I understand how you can say I'd die if I absorb the last of the flames. But what do you need from me, exactly? Psi warriors, first of all, are not afraid of death, because although their bodies may die, their spirits never die. You can tell me what it is you need. Anything at all." Rocka smiles a little. Even his intimidating face looks kind this time. | |||

| "The energy I took from the dark flames is long gone. It exists as mana now. That mana is stored in the etheral dimmension, and in my body to be used another day. People of my race, once trained to, can completely change the destructive, dark energy from dark flames into holy, spiritual energy, or mana. I thank you for your concern about me, but I know I'll never die from your resurrections." Suddenly, he stops and thinks for a moment. "Wait a second... resurrections? Are you saying that you're immortal?" |

I am almost as old as the universe in a way." Dark Pheonix's flames stop reaching out to him even though they seem to sence some type of energy simaller to them. "I know your spirit will live on forever, but my body will live on forever and my spirit will eventually die. Then again anyone's spirit can die if something happens." |

Souls require good assets to exist; not many really know, though. When you become a psi warrior, you take an oath called the Pact of Honor. This oath bonds your soul to Virtue, Respect and Honor, giving the soul incredible strength and duration. That's also why all psi warriors are good, not evil." | |||

Now if you take that to an extreme all your spirit soul and everything will die at once. You should talk to Star about it. His soul is barely alive. If you don't use every little bit of energy you took from the dark flames it could currupt the mana you have. I know you think you purified it, but it is impossible to do. It is to old and confusing if you listen to the fire. All you can hear is darkness with no light." |

I can still sense their spirits, which are alive as ever, and that makes me happy. Rocka walks down the balcony, which spans the width of that side of the palace. After he's almost to the end, he points to the super-bright blue orb floating above the palace, now visible. "That orb emits an aura that can restore purity to souls. Now notice that I said can, not will. It's truly up to the recipitent to recieve that purity. That orb allows all the psi warriors' spirits a home. So that orb actually is the gateway to the etheral dimmension where the spirits of our kin live. That explains how the aura is created. All psi warriors are pure, and since so many pure souls have gathered there, even their presence gives purity." | |||

| Dark Pheonix looks at it and his flames change and start to give off light for a second then they turn back to dark flames seeming stronger than before. "That is another problem right there. These dark flames get convereted and then change back always stronger. I guess that is what happens with a very strong source of power. This energy seems familier. I wonder why this power doesn't seem as strong as the energy itself." |

| "These dark flames are way to powerful. They abosrb energy from a great amout of power like those spirits. Eventually they will be able to break from this form and I will finally be gone, but ntil then I am an immortal. Even after that I will still exist, but all of me will just be a destructive force." Dark Pheonix's eyes seem to burn with dark fire all of a sudden. "I think I should leave soon. Star's power seems to be getting stronger. I suggest you send someone to stall him." Star's view "I can feel Dark Pheonix and a new power. Why haven't I been able to feel this before. It is to powerful to go unnoticed." Star was walking almost directly under the castle looking straight up. He then waited and thought about how to get up there. "I so wish I could fly." |

| Rocka has his eyes closed. He seems to be thinking about something. Finally he opens his eyes and says, "I feel him. He wants to get up here, doesn't he? Let's get away from the aura so he can't sense you anymore. Then I want you to tell me what exactly he wants from us." Rocka then holds his right hand up and focuses, and the hand flares up with lavender ether. As if on cue, a hovering, crystal disc floats from around the side of the buildings and Rocka leaps onto it. "Come on, you can fly along side of me, Dark Pheonix." Rocka then takes off away from the palace. | |||

| Dark Pheonix starts fling along side Rocka. "Hmmmm, I don't think he wants anything. He just likes to know what stuff is. He is wierd like that, and now that he knows something is up here so he will keep looking for it. He isn't evil, but I wouldn't invite him up here." Dark Pheonix keeps looking down towards the earth. Star's view "I guess I could jump for it. I think I could make it if I take off my weapons and armor. Hope I don't need them." Star takes off his armor and only has a greyish white robe on. He puts his armor and his weapon in a time distortion. He then starts warming up. |

Star's view "Hello, Star. Think you can make that jump, or do you need some help? Also, do you know who you're dealing with if you enter Crystal Psipalace? You'd be dealing with Virtue, Respect, and Honor. You wouldn't want that now, would you? Gwa ha ha ha!" Rocka had just projected a telepathic message to Star, in an effort to surprise him. |
