Two of those are just observing something by the user, the last one is sending him something. I could go as far as to agree that it made sense when we only had six links or something down there because it's not big enough for us to make a whole new row for it, I guess, but it doesn't make sense now. If you really want to keep the Send private message on the right, propose a new order of these links -- Send private message | Rate user | Remove user from post radar | Block layout Admin: View private messages | View votes | View blocked layouts status | Edit user -- that makes sense for both Admins and ordinary users (View private message is near Send private message, and Rate user is near View votes). | That's actually kind of sad, is it really that challenging for people to change links in profile.php? Assuming that this is a released version, people will be "using" this and will / should be able to modfiy things themself. Big deal ... | The challenge isn't changing the links; I could do that in a jiffy if I wanted to. But no other order of the links makes much sense - we tried a few before settling on the current one, and it just happens to not 'work' for those who want Send private message on the opposite side. We don't even know if the rest of the board likes it fine, just that max and knuck don't, so we're not really sure we should change it in the first place. With very few exceptions, the easiest part of developing this board is writing code. |

| Problem not solved. There really ARE two rows. The second row is only visible if you're an admin. What's in the second row must therefore stay in the second row, and what's in the first row must stay in the first row. | |||

As long as we're talking about moving links, I think it'd be a lot better if they were somewhere above the Sample Post. Often I have to block a layout that simply will not load (but won't stop trying, thus making the whole page not load), but because it won't load, I can't get to the 'block layout' link!  It'd also be nice if you could hide our rank without setting it to none, so you could have a custom rank but still show the real one in your layout. For bug fixes, it still says 'email withheld from non-staff users' even if it isn't.  Finally, someone mentioned custom themes... I think it'd be really cool to have a light blue one, kinda like my layout. Or even cooler to have one that links to a local CSS file (file:///c/acmlm.css or some such), so that you can customize it.  (Or even just per-user custom board headers with HTML/Javascript enabled, as I've brought up before...
