| AcmlmBoard 1.A1 will, hopefully, be online by around 3PM Sunday board standard time, in time for the fourth anniversary of the board's initial opening on acmlm.overclocked.org. AcmlmBoard 1.A1 will include, amongst other things: - Several exploit fixes. - Edit poll, featuring post-creation deleting, renaming and adding of poll choices with associated chart colors. - Admins editing you will NOT lead to duplication of newlines in your bio, layout header, or sig. You're welcome.  - PM counter won't count deleted messages. (The reason it does is because it's not really deleted; if it was the user who sent it wouldn't be able to see it in his Sent message folder. I just forgot to account for this in the counter.) - Some other minor changes to prepare for forthcoming features. You won't use this yet or even need to use it. What will not be included, but will be coming shortly in either 1.A2 or 1.A1b: - Reordering of poll choices. - The newly developed Javascript (Javascript is NOT Java) powered... thing, for lack of a better word, that makes it easier to add and remove choices in Edit poll, will also be in New Poll. And yes, as usual with Javascript-based features added by me, it will work without Javascript as well, but it won't be as neat or work as quickly. - Write-in poll votes. Yes. - Something else. Something else that's good; very good. I won't tell you yet, but you WILL like it. Do you have something incredibly brief that could be added in, like, five minutes or is a straightforward fix? Edit: AcmlmBoard 1.A1 will not include the amazing new dynamic add/remove choices thing as foretold; integration has proven a bit harder than I thought and I have to delay it to be able to make sure I can test it enough. | Yup. For posterity, here's how the old editpoll - because we DID have it from the beginning - failed. It removed and reinserted all choices upon editing. This resulted in the changed choices having new IDs technically. So not only could you not re-vote since you had already voted for another choice earlier, BUT the old votes were invalid, since the respective choices were gone. |

| Alas, I just confused the people here. But jesper did do the favorite system right? You can easily confuse "Promised to make editpoll for years" for "orginally made the damn thing". In worst case it had to be edited manually through PMA. :/ |

| This one's a little further in the future, but it'd sure be nice to have for the fifth anniversary. It's also something I've been whining for since my first year here. A standardised format for making new schemes for the board. Custom page headers, custom post formats, custom index.php format, the works. I don't think this is thinking too far in the future, we've done almost everything we wanted to functionality wise, next year I think we should give her a proper lick of paint with a few radical optional colour schemes. |
