Hope this helps. Also.. Take note that this is a forum about rom hacks. Not game codes... (edited by Chris on 01-19-05 05:56 PM) |

Visit http://www.gscentral.com/ for all your Action Replay code needs. (I don't know why I am advertising the site. I hate those people. [On the forums and the site administration.]) (edited by Parasyte on 01-19-05 09:01 PM) |

If their codes do not work, go tell them so. They will fix it. (edited by Parasyte on 01-20-05 12:08 AM) |

man you sure were right about those admins at cs central forums first of all all code requests are completely ignored and the mods are complete assholes. They will flame you or ban at the drop of a hat so I need a oplace that can get the codes i need and that are nice about it | |||

This, right? http://www.gscentral.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11073 I have a few suggestions, take it or leave it. 1) The thread topic (title) is where you put a short description of what you want. Don't be so vague; 90% of the users on that website are looking for help with "AR codes". A good title would mention the game you want help with. In this case, Metroid Fusion. 2) Your punctuation and grammar skills leave something to be desired. The reason they will "ban or flame you for nothing" is mostly based on 'worthiness' of such treatment. Anyone who shows lack of appreciation for the English language will often find lack of appreciation from others. If you put some effort into posting requests in a concise, coherent manner with as few intentional mistakes as possible, you will find more people will be willing to put some effort into helping you. 3) If you really have searched for what you are requesting and found nothing, mention that you have searched and found nothing. If instead you received a code which did not work, mention the code you tried and ask for either: A) verification that the code is correct B) ask if the code can be fixed. 4) It might be a good idea to apologize for such sloppy writing in that first post, even if no one was actually offended. It will just show that you care enough about what these people may offer that you are willing to make yourself look like someone who is actually worth helping. (Not that I am saying you are unworthy of help, but from that post you appear to be 'just another lamer with nothing to contribute and everything to take'. Your image could use some improvement, in that regard.) Remember, first impressions are always the most important. So there it is. Please do not take any offense to what I have said. It is advice which is intended to help. |
