| You won't find most hosts that are good for Acmlmboard, and free. IIRC, the way Acmlmboard is coded uses more SQL space and usage as well as CPU usage. You want to go in the way of paid hosting, you'll get better results. (edited by Sex Change on 01-16-05 09:10 PM) |

| next best thing: use your comp as the host I need to find out the network settings password, then i'd act as a host during the time my comp is on. But, there'd be a catch. (You'd have to go to my board and post at least one time a year  ) |

| I'd rather you to try Funpic. It's free and you have unlimited webspace, PHPMyAdmin and MySQL databases. I'm using it for my board and I like the service there, because they don't have down times, they're up to 99.9%. It's worth a try. | *sighs* Even when you spend a bit, hosting packages are few and far between when it comes to MySQL and PHP. I had to get paid hosting when I set up an Acmlmboard, and for the most part, I never had any trouble with it from there. You're seriously kidding yourself if you want a free host that offers MySQL, PHP and decent bandwith. If you're willing to spend just a little bit a year, your options flood open. Seriously. |
