| Thank the gods that ive finally found somewhere that may tell me what the heck happened to tRO yes i am new here my name is Cirbourne some of you who play tRO may have seen me around i run the Order Of Odin guild now that the intro is outta the way time for my question what has happened to tRO i was on a few days ago there were a few disconnects and then EVERYTHING JUST DISAPPEARED the sites the servers what happened did they get attacked/hacked/wiped???? | i heard from a few people on the IRC channel that the server operator dude will be back in the office on Monday, so it might be reset then. but what pisses me off is that the server went down on Wednesday, and the operator was told about it. and for THREE DAYS, he did NOTHING about it. | |||

| From my understanding the tRO message board went down with the crash. Unless it is a separte sight that i do not know of ive tried to access tRO's forums and other sites they are all down. |

| My GUESS would be that: 1) There are quite a few tRO players who have been longtime board members; 2) #acmlm is usually the most active channel on IRC so it's easy to spot; 3) ...Damned if I know.  Plus people know which forums to POST THINGS IN here. |

| Yeah i just tried all the sites again to no avail, I bet alot of people are ticked that tRO players are invading the forums to get info on why the sites/servers are down, thats why i first came here but i intend on being here for other topics as well. Hope you all look to me as a friend and not the plauge. |

| yeah, i googled this board once i found that the tRO board was down. But I bet the server operator wont restart the server on Monday. He probably forgot about it over the weekend, and needs to be reminded. |

| ... sighs... and it was still dark. Does anyone, ANYONE, know where the power switch is? The monkey's who are in charge of tro's server seem to have forgotten where it was - and are in need of a refresher. I never realized how addicted to TRO I was until the server crashed, and still hadn't awoken the next day - my fits of boredom nearly killed me. I've only been playing for two weeks. "Yes. | Alright, I feel that I really need to say something about the addiction to RO and how you people are taking this server going down. Before I get flamed and such, while I understand that the server not being active sucks and all, but you all should take advantage of this by trying to do other things. The value of life is not constructed in that game. Just as you glue your eyes to that computer screen, watching the character that you control move around, you're actually the one standing still. You're gonna be the one drifting, slowly watching the time pass by, until it's too late. I'm sorry to say, but if you get really addicted to something, you'll miss many other things. It's okay to play RO and all, that's fine by me. Hell, I usually indulge in video games everyday, and sometimes for long periods of time. I can pull myself away from Just don't commit your lives to a game though. Ragnarok Online, from what I understand is addicting, but if you can only control your character that you play and not yourself, then... what's the point? That's all I gotta say, but don't get mad at me about what I said. I'm not here to start anything, just want to warn you. |
