Very good idea-- er, wait, there's 3.14^907867 people who would abuse this out there, that's right.

Yeah, well, technically, everything that can be used as a cure can also be a toxin.

Nanobots used in a bad way could be worse and less detectable than most other things. They could easily be used as a "trojan horse".

Yeah, another question though. Wouldn't walking in a strong magnetic field have fatal results for you when your body is full of nanobots?

There are ways to shield an object from magnetic fields. As for the use of nanobots, I could see them being used for health, and the Amercian gov't using them for war. Only one of these actions I would attempt to stop. |

Yeah, but once they start making nanobot bombs or something wich infect everyone with malicious nanobots we're pretty much screwed.

Well, it would depend on the atoms, wouldn't it? Like it could probably turn Hydrogen Peroxide into Water and Oxygen...

Yes, changing hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen gas is possible. You can create a balenced chemical equation of that. 2H2O2 -> 2H2O + O2. No atoms change. However, you're never* going to get water to turn into some form of carbon, it's like trying to turn lead into gold. *Subnano, though it might not even be possible, could do this. That's not coming up any time soon, if ever. |

hmm it's possible to obtain anything from anything, the only problem is we don't really have ways to control atomic fission and fusion, they're mainly limited to very big atoms (i.e. over 200 protons)... |
