Mm... just had be a bowl of tomato soup with croutons. Nourishingly yummy, and it took less than five minutes.

What are your favorite quick foods?

I know the best easy food, and I'm sure everyone will agree with me...

Ramen Noodles...

If I wasn't in school, I'd be making them right now. Just add hot water, never boil!

Ramen Noodles...

I used to like those, but I ate them too frequently, and now I can't stand them

Also, there've been two posts in this thread saying that soup takes less than 5 minutes to make. Whenever I make it, it takes somewhere near 10 minutes, with mixing all the stuff up in the pot, waiting for it to heat up then eating it That's the stuff from the can though, so maybe you have different stuff than we do

Ramen noodles are yummy. I also like grilled cheese and easy mac.
And if I have all the right ingredients, I can make the best sandwich ever.

PB&J (For the mentally impaired: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches)
Sometimes I add slices of banana into it and I always wash it off with a cold glass of milk.

Had this for dinner tonight, one of my favorite sandwiches ever...

A slice of ham
A slice of pepperjack cheese
A slice of turkey
a slice of Mozarella or Provolone, whichever is in the house
Dill pickles
Mustart
and two slices of bread.

Mm.... although hot pockets are good, too.

That doesn't sound too bad although I usually stick with straight sandwiches. Like "salami" or "ham" instead of "4 different things at once". Dunno why, but if I want a snack I want something that won't take me 10 minutes to make.

I don't like to cook, so much of what I eat requires little preparation time.

Basic salad - Rinse a few leaves of romaine lettuce, shake off, paper towel dry, rip into pieces, put in a bowl. Slice some cucumber and throw it in. Add broccoli florets. Top with dressing (I like olive oil and vinaigrette).

Fake burger with cheese - Takes about 2 minutes tops.

Random microwave meal - If you get quality ones (I like Amy's chili and mattar paneer), they actually taste good and are nutritious. They're rather expensive, though.

Ready-to-eat stuff - I like plain cottage cheese, and I can at least tolerate plain tuna fish.

Protein shake - Whey powder + ice cubes + milk or water + possibly some other stuff (fruit, flavor extract) + blender = w00t. I haven't figured out how to make banana smoothies quite as good as Smoothie King's, though, so I often wind up just going there after I work out.

Protein pudding - Cook some plain oatmeal. Add a serving of protein powder (vanilla works best) and sweetener and flavoring to taste (I throw in some Splenda, cinnamon, and nutmeg). Arrrgghhhblllrrgggh.

Bug Rando to make something - From my point of view, this is easy. He actually enjoys cooking, so this works for us. (I do the grocery shopping and the dishes.)

Order something from Pita Pit - That works too.

Cinnamon French toast - It's quite easy to make I'd say even regular French toast is easy to make.

Chips, crackers, and chocolate - Easy food to snack on. Yum, chocolate. *drools*

I used to like Ramen noodles but I had it too much. So, now I can't stand it. Then also there's sandwiches to make. PBJ and chicken are the only sandwiches that eat mainly.

Pizza Pockets! Or was it Pizza Pops? The ones that are shaped like a taco, not the round ones.
