Why do people get mad over the stupidest things that happens/happened? Is there anyway to prevent getting mad over it. Also, about apologizing why do we say we're 'sorry' and other people don't believe it when we mean it?

Because people have tendancies to over-react, and judge on impulses and emotions

We all do it, even if you are the most careful, loving, nicest guy around. Theres always something that makes someone tick, and people just get blinded by their rage and let you have it.

Sure, you can suppress your anger... that doesnt mean its good for you Gotta let it out sometime.

Just the other day I was kicked in the back by the dude who had their locker right above mine. It was REALLY close to bell, and by some twist of bad luck, his gym shorts fell through a crack in his locker and onto the floor right after I had slammed my locker. Now, I could have simply taken his shorts with me, but then he would have accused me of stealing them (This guy is kinda hot tempered), so I left them there right in front of my locker. They were gone when I went to my locker after class. For that, I got kicked, yelled at, and... pretty much it. So yeah, I apologized, didnt do much help, so I shrugged it off/

BTW, gym shorts are 4 dollars... so it wasnt THAT big of a deal .

I know I get mad over the stupidest things every once in awhile..especially yesterday. This week just hasn't been my week. People have good days and bad days and get irriated easily..especially if somethings botherthing..and they hold it all in and get mad for stupid reasons..like I have been doing . Some people say sorry when they don't mean it. People don't take it very seriously sometimes because they might think it's just a lie or they're lied to..stubborn people..like me .

You know, what other word(s) can you say other than 'sorry' when you apologize? That seems to be the common reaction to apologize is to say you're sorry.

I can't remember the last time I got angry at something I'm just too mellow.

There is someone I know from this convention, though, that does get mad over such stupid things... For instance, he gets violent when he loses games.

People do stuff they shouldn't. I've tried to get ahold of it myself, but it is just hard sometimes.

Really it is the point that no one thinks before they act. (Something that works wonders if you can do it.)

Oh, if someone doesn't accept my aplogy, I have the best phrase to use. "Fuck off!"

Today in class, we were in the computer lab, and people were taking a test, but they were talking to one another and everyting, but my teacher didnt want us to talk, i didnt see her behind me, so i was whipering to the kid next to me, who was in my class, he then decided to be a dumbass, and said very loudly, "Whats that Greg?" and then she came over and told him to sit in the hall, and when i was laughing abou what he said, she told me to go out to the hall, so i said what the hell? that caused two more classmates to begin laughing, so she kicked those two out too...
then she was yelling at us to go to the hall but the drug dog was out there, so we couldnt, so she was yelling at us because we werent in the hall :/ it was pretty stupid, and now im laughing my ass off about it...

I believe it's possible to change attitudes but what if it's only online and never has changed while offline?

Also, oniblade that's funny what happened but pathetic as well.

People will always get pissed over the stupidest little things, because the majority of people care way too much about the stupidest little things.

For example, girl in my Physics and Calc class, one day asked me if I thought she was fat (which she's not, she's actually got the best body I've seen). I said no, and she said that others said she was. Why care what others think of you. I seriously have only cared a few times what others thought of me and after being betrayed by the 'cool' group. I realized all that matters is what you think about yourself...

Shit, I'll stop my offtopicness there...

Well--when people are stressed, this tends to happen a lot because they can't take it anymore. So the smallest insignificant thing can touch them off because they need something to let it go I guess.

I can't remember the last time I overreacted about something trivial that was beyond my control...

It's not always the other person's fault. Sometimes you may get in an arguement and the other person will say the wrong thing, and that ticks you off even more. Its just a big cycle of stupidness. I dont like confrontations. =(

I hate people who are pessimistic. You only have one life, why the hell would you waste it.

I'm just not one of those people that likes confrontation in general, so my reactions to confrontation tend to wind up being very poor. I probably make people angrier because I don't handle personally confrontational anger very well at all.

As for pessimism, I'm prone to that. But I do try to fight it; it's partly depression and partly life history that get me that way.

Indeed, hell I notice that people who constantly bugs about other people should get a life... usually are quite pessimistic about life.

I'm one of thoose who try always is quite optimistic, even when i'm depressed. I can be sad and gloomy but still think "Ah hell, it's not making diffrence in a few years".

...althought the only thing I can't get optimistic about is death, becuse somehow it's not logical with afterlife... ;

But i'm trying to act nice to people, even if i'm not happy. Althought I tend to get more easily annoyed during thoose periods... which aren't as common as before, thank god.

I used to be pessimistic...until I overcame the true thing that bothered me, which was living a life devoid of interactions with people at the social level. Now, I'm satisfied about living a single life the rest of my life. It was a gradual process but I'm more content now then I was four years ago
