| Does anyone know the pallet offset of the ruby logo? If so can you please tell me? I've searched through about 500 and I still havn't found it. Thanks in advance, Maxigt. |

| I'll take that as a no then. With the title screen showing in VBA, open up VBA's palette viewer. Have NotePad or an actual note pad handy. Click the first background color. Let's assume that color is black, 0x0000. Write down 0000. Now the next color might be white, 0x7FFF. Write down FF7F. Third color might be 0x3487. Write down 8734. Continue until you have eight to sixteen colors. Open the same rom in a hex editor and search for these values: 0000FF7F8734. If the colors aren't compressed, you should find them just sitting there. If they are, tough noodles for you. Anyway, you now have the title screen's palette offset. Tile Molester can read it's colors from any position in ROM, just make sure you specify 256 colors. If you want the ability to edit the colors, TM can do that too but I forgot the details. PS: The title screen does NOT have the colors I just mentioned. At least not in that order. |
