Over some streets in the downtown area of the city where I live, there are covered pedestrian bridges that connect some of the buildings...one of them had a sign on a railing; it said something to the effect of "ORDINANCE #297582: DO NOT STAND, LEAN, OR SIT ON THE RAILINGS OR FLOOR". I don't think that was the exact wording (or the exact number) but I do remember that someone scratched underlines under the words "STAND" and "FLOOR"...and with good reason. That's quite odd  Maybe they meant for it to mean that you were'nt allowed to stand on the railings, and you couldn't lean or sit on the floor, but they worded it kind of wrong, as is obvious  Then, how exactly would you go about leaning on the floor? Lay down and prop yourself up on your elbow or something? That's the only thing I can think of  Either way, the 'don't stand on the floor' thing is quite weird  You'd have to walk through on your hands, or go through on a bike if they were to take that seriously.Any other weird signs they have there? It'd be interesting to find out if there are any more  |

| Seems like a fairly ordinary sign to me. A bit odd, yes, but they had their reasons to emphasize certain points (probably because nobody read the sign in the past). |

| Kefka, I have seen signs like that one as well here. I use them all the time. If I don't want to go inside and eat, but I want to sit and eat away from home, I go through the drive thru, then I park in drive thru parking only spaces. | |||

| I saw a great road sign in Ireland.... there was road construction going on and a bridge was out, and there was a sign next to the road to the bridge that just said "Don't even think about it." And a few km later there was another sign that said "Plant Crossing." Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of either of them. |
