| It'd be pretty big of us to think that we're the dominant species in the entire universe and likewise it'd be big of us to think that our planet is the only thing inhabited out of a speck in a very large amount of black space. Heck, the way I see it...with the stuff that goes down daily in the world...if there really is a superior intelligence out there...then they really are for NOT contacting us. Seriously...if you were to walk in on Earth the majority of the way it is now, would you stand for some of the stuff if you had better? That could be one reason we haven't heard...course they might not exist either but...I dunno, read or watch Contact. Yea, I just put a thing based entire off of science fiction into a conversation...but it punches some good points too and how close we might just be (or, conversely, how far off we really are). I just figure if we ever did get contact, it'll be a War of the Worlds like rampage and they won't be ignorant enough to die because of the thing that kills us, disease...but I dunno...maybe the whole benevolence thing might work out too. No proof that intelligent life exists just like the fact that there's no proof in the fact that there are higher beings that command faith or that the laws of science as we know them today are 100% complete assured fact. There's a strong possibility for almost anything really...so why not other life and other forms of transportation and whatnot? We still know literally zero about everything in this world as there is anyways (yes, we've come a long way, but it's miniscule in the grand scheme of things, if you take evolution into account)...that's why we have science and religion to explore the large scale of what we don't know and put faith into the fact that hey...there might actually be a possibility that everything that I was taught might in fact end up to be false. Got to leave your mind open for the fact that some day something might drop from the sky that might leave some consequences in everyone's wake that no one expects...and no I'm not talking about Armageddon either... So yea...I think they exist...I just think that we might have to wait a while for there to be any type of contact inbetween. I mean we figured the world was flat a long time ago and it wasn't...and there were people over yonder...why not aliens or ETs or whatever in the boundaries of space? | UFOs? Sure Aliens? No Supposedly, crop circles are supposed to be signs of extraterrestrial life forms, yet people have been caught making those. Movies/stories/media have hyped it up way too much. |

In other words, we have a cold war with aliens now?  Heh, thought I do still wonder about the oppesite. If we discovered a stone age civilazation on one of the planets, and the planet is rich with resources. What would humans do with this alien-civilization that hadn't got nowhere yet?  |

| For the record: Crop Circles are bullshit. Search around the net, I've seen shows and documents, and seen machines on how they make such things. I truly don't believe aliens enjoy coming down to our planet and making nice little designs. |

People say that there couldn't be life on Mars because it can't support life. Who says they need what we do to stay alive? It's just as likely that they breathe methane and feed off the sun, or even something totally different you'd never imagine. They don't necessarily have to look like us, either. They could be a different type of being altogether, something that we can't even perceive with our senses. Hell, maybe all the spaceships people claim to be seeing are the aliens themselves! In closing, I'd like to just point out one fact that people don't seem to be able to understand: ALIENS NEED NOT BE HOSTILE. I hate how that War Of The Worlds thing went and screwed this up for everyone. It's much more likely that any extraterrestrial intelligent life that we should meet would want to befriend us, or even just leave us alone and/or study us from a distance. Just because aliens come here does NOT mean the Earth is going to be destroyed! |
