| Had fun with scrabble earlier...but there were...certain things about it that...no. Play scrabble with drunks whose vocabularies are terrible doesn't work well. Talked about it with m' beta tester via IM: Samurai Steak: Bicardi 151. *rolls eyes* aesirraven: Heh,. Samurai Steak: Playing Scrabble while m' host and two of his buddies took shots...and was wishing I'd get something other than vowels. aesirraven: XD aesirraven: AEIOUAUIEOU! Triple word score! Samurai Steak: *laughs* aesirraven: What's that? Drop a hammer on your toe. aesirraven: Yeah, that word. Samurai Steak: Nice...I like that. aesirraven: By the way, remember... "doh" is officially a word. Samurai Steak: I know. Been used enough they finally added it. Samurai Steak: Last time I played Scrabble I got a number of good pulls. Samurai Steak: And dropped "quiz" on a double word score, with no way to turn it into "quizes." aesirraven: Drat! Samurai Steak: That was against m' dad & them. Samurai Steak: I took that game. Samurai Steak: Tonight...no good. Can't do much with five vowels all the time and the others making a shitload of four-letter words. aesirraven: FUCK! SHIT! DAMN! I wonder how many points those are. Samurai Steak: Damn...7. Shit...I think it's 7. Fuck...12, believe it or not. Samurai Steak: Scary, eh? :-P aesirraven:  Samurai Steak: Get some good points for foul language. It's not right. aesirraven: Samurai Steak: What does this teach children...? Alright son...whatcha' got? Look dad, I get twelve points for "fuck!" Jonathan!! to your room!!! "Fuck" is even worth 18 if you use the French scoring (F=4, U=1, C=3, K=10), but then it's not a French word  I remember long ago when I had a Scrabble game on my old Macintosh, I sometimes had fun entering invalid words and getting insane scores with that, putting crap like ADJOIXCSAFZAEK through 2 or 3 Triple Word bonuses to score over 1000 in one shot  (I still have a screenshot of that somewhere, but would have to find it again) |

| I've pulled off a Quiz/quiz(blank)ing on the first and second move. It's worth quite a lot. When I was a kid I had a special scrabble set where I'd added a 0 to the end of every score thing. I'd randomly pull 10-point vowels out of my pocket during actual games just for the hell of it. |
