| Okay, about the transformations, I believe the tree outside the Palace of Darkness say that it was when Gannondorf touched the Triforce the power of evil started flowing, and everybody were turned into mirror images of their heart. As for Gannon keeping his form outside the Golden Land, I believe that is because he holds the Triforce of Power. Or maybe because he stayed in the Golden Land for so long. I'm not sure. But anyway, I actually beat Four Swords now. The ending isn't really exciting or anything Spoiler: , but Zelda does mentoin that Link saved her "again", which proves that this is a Link we've played as before. And again, I believe it's the LttP/LA-Link.(Links seal Vaati in the sword, Zelda is freed, the sword turns Link back into one person, and he places the sword back in the shrine. The end.)
