| You know, I recall setting it to the highest year, but I could have sworn I put in the real day and month. *Does so* And yeah, since 2035 is the highest the timestamp will go, there could be massive problems after that. Think Y2K, except for real, because a lot of systems depend on this sort of thing. Though I imagine they'll have worked something out by then. (Anyone who knows a damn thing about hex should have realized that the year 2000 means absolutely nothing to a computer. 2156 maybe, but not 2000.)And the birthday bug was nothing compared to when a security test accidentally set every user's last activity to one minute ago, making every single one show up as online. Just recently too. ![]() |

That's an Unix limitation, althought I do hope it's fixed in time anyway. Like the Y2K bug was. The board is running on Linux with Apache, so the limations apply to this board too. ![]() Althought it's even worser on Acmlm's private server. It talks about Windows servers not supporting dates before 1980 on the memberlist. ![]() |
