Birthdays for December 31: Aduin (35), Andres (35), Apple (35), blake (35), Brandon (-16), eternaldragonx (35), Figment (35), gotcha (35), HyperHacker (-31), jasukan (36), Kawa-oneechan (35), Mecha Mazgoth (15), nerdienerd105 (24), Papaerman (35), shinigami (35)

wee'red?

Probably a lot of no-posters that quickly just filled in crap.

Happy birthday non-birthday'ers!

I doubt that half of them are even real... Hyperhacker being a negative age and all... I know he's around 16 or 17.

Non-Posters should be deleted within a certain amout of time, they waste too much space.

I agree; I can't count the number of times people complain to me that they can't register because the board hit its user cap.

I'll agree with that. I noticed non-posters have been 'removed' from the Ranks list (it now has a [number] inactive thing, if you haven't noticed yet). I would suggest something like 3 months of not posting to qualify for deletion It might not seem like a long time, but I think if someone's registered at the board, and not posted in three whole months, they've obviously forgotten about it

As far as the issue with the birthdays, that's something that caught my eye earlier on this morning I think that as soon as they're marked inactive, they wouldn't appear on the birthday list. It's interesting that most of them apparently turn 35 today as well

Default birthday.

And having those non-posters doesn't create any storage problem at all, so it doesn't really matter.

I set it so that I was 36 so I could be 1 year older than them and be like "wussup".

The only benefits that the removal of non posters has is perhaps making the memberlist a little easier to navigate when looking for somebody specific. It also gives a slightly more accurate representation of how many members the board has...

The space saved by removing non posters is negligible. Still, when I ran a board, I used to do it every now and then.

I see there is a new one there... well. It was even worser the first new years eve on this board, everyone who hadn't set his birthdate had his birthday today. (or if it was on new years day, i'm not sure)

It was done a LONG time ago. I remember seeing that in the calendar a month or so ago.

I don't mind it.

HyperHacker once said to me that the reason he's listed as that is because it's the latest the board, and many other things, would allow. He then said that that could possibly cause problems in the year 2036

I find this funny because you have no Acmlmboard/PHP experience. If you did, you wouldn't have said this .

Daiz told me this is because, uh.

[12:49:42 PM] <DahrkDaiz> (Dec. 31, 1970, unix time is counted from this point, or something like that)

If anyone remembers 12-31-01 (the first time), where everyone with no birthday set showed up, you'll see this is nothing

And I do delete inactive users sometimes, just to clean up the memberlist and user count (it barely saves a few posts worth of space ), usually after months of inactivity, but only if they've never ever been active and don't even lurk ...

I saw all those people this morning, so I decided to set it to be -35 (2039) but the board resetted my birthday back to 1969
