| im just wondering whats the weirdest, or funniest name you have heard for a cat, or actually have a cat with an odd name...we certainly do... this one came from my brother... one of the kittens we have, when it was born, had like a crink in its tail...so its not straight, it kinda goes like ______ __/ and a normal cats is straight...so my brother came up with the name "Colonel Crink"(originally from colonel clank..lmao) and...wouldnt ya know it, everyone in my family calls it that, even some of our friends, and my parents friends. and thats its official name...even my parents call it by that name, we always shorten it though, to "Crink"..well, thats the weirdest name ive ever heard a cat be named by, we also have a cat names moxie, and one thats unnamed.. My dad had a cat named Mees (thanks to my little brother, who was two and therefore didn't know very many words yet). Chester and Cookie have all sorts of very undignified nicknames generated by mangling their names and adding rhyming nonsense words or silly suffixes (e.g. Cookity Wookity Ding Dong, Chester Wester Woo). I called Chester Softy Wofty for a while because he has an especially plush coat...and I made the mistake of adding the "Ding Dong" suffix when a friend was over. This was after Chester had been neutered, so said friend still teases me about it.  |

I can't say our two cats have weird names, but one of them's still quite unoriginal. We've got a black cat, and a grey cat. The black one's name is 'Tabby' (my sister named it) and interestingly enough, it's a tabby cat My Mom gave the grey one the name 'Smokey'  Tabby is quite large (fat, not big), so most of the time, several other words will get prepended before 'Tabby'.
