Too young to work, but for my work experience I did half a year ago I worked for the British news corp ITN. It was good fun, I did various things including archive tape formatting, camera work, satellite work, 3D graphics edtiting and more. The whole thing was like a huge long episode of Teachers (comedy programme that's on in Britain), everyone's either drinking, flirting or smoking. Good times

When Im outta school I'd like to study aerodynamics and become an aerodynamicist, or something in aeronautics. Last chance saloon, id want to be something in physics.

I don't have a job right now, but I do have a summer job (if I want it). Last summer I worked full time at Carthage College (a private college near me). I was basically inputting data, scanning, sending out news letters, stuffing envelops, and finding people/addresses. Sometimes I'd get lucky and there would be random odd jobs for me to do, but otherwise it was unbelievably boring.

The good thing is they absolutely loved me there and want me back. The bad thing is I never ever want to go back. I'm hoping this spring/summer I'll get a job working at a veterinary clinic.

No, I'm a lazy SOB.

Actually, I'm definitely going to have to get one this summer, no way around it. I'll start checking at the end of February, which is when everyone hires for the May-August period.

wow, that's excellent. More and more i've been contemplating some sort of military service. How's the airforce overall. Worth it? And what are the chances I'll be able to get a cool job like that ?

Trapster - That was a reference to Kindergarten Cop, a movie where Arnold Schwarzenegger is a cop who pretends to be a kindergarten teacher to solve some case. I haven't seen it in a while, so I can't remember exactly how he was doing this, but evidently one of the kids' fathers was important to the case, so he was trying to gather some information without making it obvious what he was up to. So he started an activity, asking the kids "Who is your daddy, and what does he do?"

i'm quite capable of seeing the correlation between the post i had read and responded to and the positioning of the name "Legion" in the adjacenmt table cell. His post seemed plausable enough to the point that i don't understand why i should doubt it's truthfulnes. I think it's because when you come to a place like this where the intelligent are few and far inbetween you over-filter and miss out on meeting people which contributes to the fact that i dont know his personality well enough.

A vet clinic sounds much more fun that working on a private college.

Good luck getting the job, HSD.

I'm in telemarketing.

It's a boring ass job where I sit on my ass in front of a computer and read questions about various products out loud to some random guy I call up. The guy then proceeds to yell at me, before hanging up.

But the pay isn't bad, and the coffee machine has very cheap coffee. (25 cent a cup)
