| Ok . . . I must be missing something here. So, a woman killed another woman, stole her baby, and admitted to it . . . but the police are unsure if the baby they found is the right one because they don't know what it's hair or eye color was? Is that right . . .? Because *gasp* there are other ways of figuring that out, oh, like . . . I dunno . . . a DNA TEST. Or how about the obvious, how old is the baby, do people know if the woman was really pregnant, did her HUSBAND know. I mean, I must be really really confused here or something . . . because this just doesn't make sense. ~Delial |

Oh yeah, show a picture of a dorky-looking woman (come on, look at the glasses) with a puppy. There's sympathy for you.  I think the whole thing's absolutely sick and there's no excuse for it. She won't get the death penalty on mental grounds but she'll get life in a padded room. |

| So I'm told about this right before I watch The Talented Mr. Ripley. Talk about a bad combination of creepiness. Anyway, she admitted to killing a woman and stealing her baby, did she not? The most obvious thing to do would be to punish her and make sure the baby is safe, rather than run tests on it and keep everyone's heads in their arses about the fate of the woman who killed. Once everything involving the law is squared away, we can worry about the baby's DNA, and if the baby turns out to be the real deal, well, we increase the sentence laid on the killer. As a side note, people sicken me. |
