The ending surprised me. I was expecting Kirby to consume the holder of the pop in addition to the item itself.

When he didn't stop sucking after consuming the pop. I did as well. What would've been funny though is if he turned invincible from eating it (it's not that far off from a lollipop, after all) then went and ran in to a bunch of stuff, killing it.
