| OOC: This is a personal challenge to MetalMan88. We talked it over in a PM. Stanard rules, be creative, good luck. I know you're a bit new to sim-battling, so I'll give some advice; Using the storyline included in the thread is creative, interesting and fun. I highly recommend it. Have fun! "Schwa, hurry! I can only hold it a little longer..." "Allaura, I'm in! Release your ether!" Though it seemed impossible, Allaura the Psi Warrior managed to hold the Steel Sphere in place, using Psi, long enough for Schwa to board it. The Steel Sphere appeared to be a medium-sized ship with a POWERFUL cannon in front, capable of disintegrating nearly anything. Schwa had no idea who piloted this ship, but he knew his intentions were Evil-hearted, and in that case it was time for him to step in and deal with it. Schwa found himself in a large metal room with scrap metal everywhere and only a few neon lights on the high ceiling. It appeared to be a storage room, but nothing was inside except the scrap metal. Then, from the corner of his mind's eye, Schwa detected movement. Schwa's hands flare up with blue ether, a sign that he is focusing psi in case of battle. "Show yourself, wicked one," Schwa announces. "Your master is no match for the forces of Good!" OOC: So as you can see, there's some pretty intense storyline contained in this fight. Use it to make your intro more interesting.  |

From there leaps Metal, a wicked grin on his face... and several sawblades in his hands.* "Hello, intruder. You did a good job of breaking into my ship. How did you do it?" *While waiting for a response, Metal casually juggled and flipped sawblades around.* |

| Schwa does some deft frontflips to get away from the explosion, but when it clears he notices a robot guard speaking to him... "Oh, YOU'RE the leader of the Steel Sphere? In that case I must shut you down. Wicked folks, even robots, finish last!" Schwa thinks, "Puh, sawblades... Those'll be no problem for me to block." Apparently Schwa has never heard of just how sharp and fast Metal Man's blades can be. "I am a Psi Warrior, foe. I and another one like myself worked together to board the Steel Sphere. Want to see what psi is? Hold still..." Schwa holds his right, ether-coated palm out, and three rings of holy and psychic energy fly out to strike Metal consecutively. "Ha! Dodge this!" |

| "A good attack. Let's see what it does." * Metal put one hand to his head. A certain magnetism sound effect could be heard. The large amount of saws he was juggling fly at Schwa from above, while Metal slid under the blast. It scraped him a bit, but he only took minimal damage from that. Meanwhile, the deadly sawblades spun and trashed their way towards Schwa....* |

| Schwa thinks quickly. "There's no possible way for me to deflect something that sharp, moving that fast. Hmm... except that one in front." Schwa raises his ether-coated hands... and catches one of the sawblades! He doesn't take a cut; the ether blocked it from damaging his body. But whether or not he really did take damage remains unclear to Metal. "Dang, that wipes me out! Better not do it again," Schwa thinks. He's referring to the fact that catching such a fast, sharp object using ether uses a lot of mental concentration. Schwa uses the blade to deftly block the rest of the blades that fly at him. Once all the blades are blocked, he starts focusing cream-colored ether around his hands... soon, the blade he holds is glowing that color. He tosses it back to Metal in a way he can easily catch. "I charged your weapon with holy energy," Schwa comments. "Not only can I partially control it, but you also must keep a focused mind in order to hit me with it. And sice you seem to be out of sawblades, you don't have a choice!" Schwa fires the same attack at Metal that he did before, aimed a tiny bit lower. He's nearly positive Metal is out of weapons... |

| "Oh, but the fun is just beginning!" * Seeing the blade hurtle towards him, Metal merely laughed and extended a hand, generating a field of the same charge as the blade. This effect caused it to repel from Metal. Seeing as that earlier attack had drained Schwa so, Metal attempted to repel the blade back to Schwa and doubly drain him of energy. This feat was simple to do, since Metal's body was already made of Metal. * |

| OOC: Oops! I guess I missed that by mistake. * Smirking, still, despite missing, Metal was to be surprised by some energy rings that he ignored earlier. BAM! BAM BAM! They knocked him on his back. * "Ouch! You have fight in you yet, I see..." *He got up, his right leg dented and thus less agile than it would be otherwise. However, he still managed to leap up a wall, then launch a flying kick at Schwa from above... with the dented and damaged leg. | "Here it comes!" Schwa leaps up as Metal approaches in midair, spins and kicks with an ether-coated right foot, attempting to deflect Metal. Then something catches his eye. "Hey, he's got wires exposed! I'm ending this right now. "Go, Sunbeam of Desert Sentinel!!" (echo effects) Schwa aims his palm at Metal's leg, and a wide, orange/purple beam flies out and envelops most of Metal (unless he dodges). The beam causes forms of elemental energy to constantly multiply. Schwa is attempting to overload Metal's body entirely and put him out of comission. "When you block me from defeating an evil Death Star pilot, I have no choice. Back off or you'll die!" Schwa yells. |

| * Seeing the attack and knowing what would happen if it hit, he just let it hit. It overloaded all of his systems... but using this temporary overload, Metal could do something previously unheard of by even himself.* "I'm... afraid you will have to survive this before you can kill me that way." * Suddenly, the entire room groaned. Metal Plates suddenly tore out of the wall and flew at Schwa. Then... it became apparent that EVERYTHING metal in the room was going to fly at schwa. The energy allowed Metal to make Schwa extremely magnetic... and there was an entire room's worth of metal coming to hit him.* |

| OOC: Don't worry, Schwa never kills his opponents. "I don't care how powerful it makes you, you can't take too much of it, that's for sure! Yeah, that's it, just try and hit me!" Schwa KNOWS he can't deflect all that metal, even with his ether. He has no choice but to stop firing the beam and take a new tactic out. "Royal Ball... Oh fugg, didn't want that one!" Too late. Out of his hand appears a blue, gel-like ball of Oracle Energy. It won't help him a whole lot... In desperation, Schwa throws the ball in the air mand it begins to orbit him very fast. Any metal that hits the orbiting shield is deflected, but everything that makes it past smashes into Schwa for good damage. His ether prevents bleeding cuts from appearing, but it still batters him a lot. Schwa comes out of that gillotine with minimal vitality. The Royal Ball comes back to his hand. "Okay, this isn't working." He starts telepathically contacting Allaura. Only she can hear it. Allaura can't board the ship, but Schwa hopes she'll at least so something... "Allaura, I'm losing to a powerful robot guard. Help!" "I can't board the ship. Here, I'll change it's direction." This procedure will take a while. While Schwa is talking with his ally, he appears to be just standing, doing nothing. Metal can get in a free shot. |

| Schwa views the scenery psychically through Allaura's eyes. Allaura, a powerful Psi Warrior with the power of Respect as her specialty element (red ether), flies slow, orbiting circles around the Steel Sphere, which is a very big, Deathstar-like warship. It's not nearly as big as the REAL Deathstar, though, so, using all her psionic energy, she focuses her thoughts on the Steel Sphere... and it is suddenly seized in place, locked in the air by a coating of red ether. She wills it another way, and it begins to spin on a diagonal axis, slowly at first, but gaining velocity. "Maybe that'll help Schwa throw his foe off a bit," she thinks. She's also thinking she has way more psi power than Schwa. Schwa makes a mental note to agree now, argue later. In the small room that Schwa and Metal face off in, the whole room suddenly throws everything to the back, including Metal (unless he's prepared) and the pile of scrap-metal he was building a wall with! Schwa is prepared, and leaps up to the ceiling, where there are metal pipes (lucky for him) for him to grab on to. He then begins to use an ability, but it takes another turn to finish, leaving him open to a hit if Metal manages to attack after the sudden room jerk. |

| *His sensors began beeping only a few seconds too late. Stuck to the wall, Metal quickly thought up a cunning plan. Using the spinning to his advantage, he began running on the walls, using the spinning aspect to speed him up. He's lucky that robots don't get disoriented like people do.* "Nice try, but now you're only making me faster!" *As he reached the top, he suddenly leapt off, flying towards schwa like some sort of kamikaze missile. This missile blitzing with electricity, of course.* "Bombs awaaaaaaaay!" |

| Schwa lets go of the pipes and falls to the slanted ground at the last second. He is hit by a few stray sparks, but that's it. He uses the ability he charged up for in a brilliant burst of white ether. "Spirit of Air!" (echo effects) The white ether now swirls together into a column of mist, and the column changes it's shape to a funnel-shape. It's also spinning at a wild velocity. The sight before them is an Air Elemental, completely under Schwa's control. "Like it? This guy'll help me turn the tables on you!" Schwa and the Air Elemental attack in tandem. The Elemental flies toward Metal in an attempt to buffet him against a wall, and Schwa backs it up with a trio of powerful, psychic energy rings aimed at Metal. |

| "An excellent plan." *As the air elemental started blowing him away (/badpun), Metal leaped away, managing to dodge two of the rings but taking another one to the shoulder. Then, he leapt behind Schwa, and... unleashed an ultra-fast barrage of punches, alternating between right and left hands. These punches were very weak, as if someone just smacked you, but came rapid-fire and were highly accurate.* "Trapped between a rock and a hard place, aren't you?" |

| "Nooo! Ouchouchouchouchouch--" Schwa had NO time to bring up ether to reduce damage, and, for the first time in a long time, took a blow at FULL POWER. Without ether, his defenses are only about as good as a normal person. Schwa is thrown forward to the ground. He turns it into a frontflip-handstand and lands on his feet. Breathing hard and bruised, Schwa turns around one last time. "Metal Man... I have only one tactic left. If it fails, Evil has won today. Please, Sensae, give me-- and my Elemental-- the power to defeat Evil." Schwa leaps high up in the air. The Elemental moves to where Schwa is about to land, and Schwa lands inside the Elemental. There is a combination of flashes of electricity and psychic energy, as Schwa's physical form becomes one with the Elemental. After 10 seconds, a half-transparent Schwa, eyes glowing silver and hands crackling with electricity, levitates calmly inside the Air Elemental, facing Metal. "I am now the Schwalemental, and you will soon feel the power in our bond." Schwa readies an attack... |

| "An excellent idea. However, my secret weapon may be able to handle it..." * A wireframe appeared over Metal's right shoulder. Soon, it fully appeared, showing a HUGE bazooka with the word 'Deathmachine' on the sides. The huge deathray powered up, making a rather loud humming noise...* "T-minus 5 seconds... 4.... 3... 2... 1.... FIRE!" * The huge deathray fired off. However, it was not a huge ray of light that flew out at Schwa. No. Instead, a whole lot of random projectiles flew out. A shoe, a fireball, a spear, a bullet, a rock, a skull, a plastic fork, a bomb, a land mine, a plastic explosive, another shoe, a hammer, an eraser, a pencil, and three bags of marbles! * |

| Without so much as a word or even a facial expression, Schwa throws his hands outward, sending three strong ripples of air outward. The air waves blast all projectiles backward, away from Schwa. A few may or may not hit Metal. "I am done playing around, evil guardian!" Schwalemental's voice echoes to him. "We may be friends someday, but as long as you defend the dark side you are my ENEMY!" Silver forks of lightning jolt from the pointed end of the tornado, striking nothing in particular but giving a dramatic clue that Schwa, from inside his elemental, is readying an attack. Then, without warning, the elemental with Schwa inside flies at Metal at a quick velocity, coated in a sphere of thunder! "Thunder Dash!" This attack will buffet the recipitent backward and cause lightning damage. While the attack power of Thunder Dash is normal, the second hit the foe takes after being knocked to the ground or into a wall adds to the danger-level of this attack. If the attack connects, Schwalemental moves backward to his initial position as quickly as he advenced; if the attack misses, Schwalemental doesn't move to his initial position but doesn't hit the wall due to the fast-moving cushion of air created around the tornado. Schwa is ready for anything in this form. A good portion of his psychic abilities have been transformed into pure instinct power. |
