Zero and zero. Holidays are not about gifts and it makes me sick that the only time that people really care about each, is when the season comes around and everyone is at the mall getting matrial things for the people that they know.

The way I see, its actually the most depressing time of year. But I won't get into my thoughts and rants about it. I just can't wait until its over.

But I know what you're thinking...only people who are not getting a thing and are broke only say things like that. Yea, maybe you're right, but when you've been through 24 seasons of Christmas, you get a bit bitter.

But even so, I still try to get cards out to those few people (and even more so now because of the board) but even this year, it's in low supply.

I honestly love buying gifts, i'm not getting stressed up and panick each time i'm buying presents. I usually take it slowly and well... i'm not feeling guilty for anyone.

Besides I mostly bought presents that would bring us together, multiplayer games such as. ^^

Well, I saved my salery in advanced so buying stuff this year should'nt be an issue. Should I get my fiance another rock? I also need to get my daughter something as well. Maybe a stuffed animal or some large plastic toys. She's starting to teeth so I cannot get anything small.

I spent about 6 hours shopping for presents today. Meaning, I spent 6 hours sitting in from of my computer.

Gotta love ebay and amazon.com There's only one thing I'm going to the store to get (because shipping would most likely cost more than the actual thing).

For people who don't have time to go to the store, you can always find something on ebay and order it in under 10 minutes.

As weird as this sounds, I'm getting my little brother super glue for Christmas...(yes, he actually asked for his, since he collects War Hammer models n'stuff).

It has nothing to do with age with me...its just been like this for as long as I can remember. I mean, the holidays can be fun..but I don't see it has to be fun to spend money, get in debt, stand in long lines, right for a parking spot, and so forth.

I'd love to go the net route... one year.

I'm starting my shopping tomorrow... malls aren't that bad during the day on weekdays during the season.

What a coincidence, Colleen, I also intend to do my shopping tomorrow. Had to spend a lot of money earlier this month, since there are a lot of birthdays in my family in mid to late december... Come to think of it why didn't I just do my Christmas shopping when I got birthday presents? Meh...

Well, after angsting for a while, I finally just got some DVD's for family. I got The Castle for my mother, which she'd been looking for for some time. And I got her some fancy chocolate.

I got my brother some fancy chocolate and some penguin mints.

And I got my partner the Happy Tree Friends DVD and some fancy chocolate.

Nothing that put me into debt, but still it took me forever to come up with what to get. It isn't much and it isn't for many people, but that's okay...

And guys, this thread was about what you were going to get people for Xmas, not what you received...
