Ok right now I need to vent.

First off me and my mom come home today from running around for over an hour. I don't know how but my mom, I guess, heard the toliet in the bathroom overflowing. So, a few minutes after trying to deal with that my dad finally came up from downstairs wondering what was going on. My dad is so slow it's pathetic to notice things. Well my mom basically used every towel to we have to clean the mess up. The toliet is really old like about 50 years I think I heard my dad say but any ways it's fixed for now. The next thing is that when my mom tried calling my aunt the first time before she noticed the toliet. Seeing as my aunt called here first before we came home.

Well my mom couldn't get through seeing as we changed phone companies and only got the low price dealing with only free local calls. But yeah she dialed a number and got through to my aunt though. Which she lives in South Beloit and we live in Beloit. That is not no fucking long distance also when someone calls the ID shows line error. Which the company said it would only last that day when we got it put in on Tuesday. Seeing as when my aunt called earlier it showed the number.

Now when my mom talked to my aunt and told my dad what was in the paper, seeing as we don't get the paper, about a neighbor a few houses down passed away yesturday. My dad was pissed and said that she shouldn't even know those people and that she has her nose in everyone's business. Which I say she does but I don't like to pay attention to what she talks about seeing as I wouldn't know what she's talking about really.

Now tomorrow I'm being forced to go to the Job Center up in Janesville. I don't want to go but I have to seeing as if I don't we'll lose the food stamps we have. Both my parents are disabled and my mom is the only one getting social security right now. As my dad keeps getting denied for some fucking reason. Also, my dad keeps saying someday about things like dealing with the toliet earlier. Which that NEVER happens to anything he talks about.

Ok that should do it for now until I think of something else to vent about.

My dad just acts slow. Also, I know where my money will go when I get a job any ways. It is tough but I'm used to it though seeing as this has been going on for quite a few years now.

Sounds like you're going through some rough times. I'm not the greatest at giving advice, but try to look on the bright side of things. Also if you wanted to, you could investigate why your dad is being denied social security.

I know of one time when he was denied. When he went to an appointment dealing with that I think it was. The people there said that he walked in with a cane. WTF?! My dad doesn't even own a cane. So, he was denied that time because of that but he keeps trying though.

Hmm, if you were a brit, I;d tell you to go to a "Citizen's Advice Bureau", as there you can get free legan advice and they may be able to get benefits for your Dad, or explain why he can't. However you're not so....

I suppose all I can say is "Hang in there". I've been in a similar situation to you (only we didn't have food stamps, we starved instead ). If I can make it through, anyone can, I know they're hollow words, but short of winning the lotttery and sending you a million bucks to settle your financial situation there's not much we can do.. but hey... did the venting make you feel better? It helps me.

Hmm... You are posting from a friends house or public library or something correct? (If you owned a computer with internet in your house, I'd think your story was a lie...)

Anyways, things will get better, if you are old enough to work, you might want to think about getting a job and trying to help as much as you can. Things happen, and many people are unlucky, but I am sure it will turn out to be good eventually.

I'm in a similar situation as far as home life goes. 21 year old trailer with a cracked but semi fuctional shower and only one functional toilet. We survive on the money my mother makes in cleaning houses and what we get from social securityIt sucks, but you just have to hang in there and find people to vent to.

Venting is amazing though, so many of us would go nuts without it
