When trying to access 'http://board.acmlm.org/index.php' a window pops up, asking what I want Firefox to do with the file, and the choices I get are:

Open with php_auto_file (standard)

or, Save to disk.

I've only tried the first option, but nothing happens, except for this little box in the down left corner saying that 'all files have been successfully downloaded..'

And I checked the directory where all my downloaded files would end up, and there were no index.php..

And all other files work perfectly, like online.php, acs.php and etc. And index.php also works when there's a query behind it, such as 'index.php?action=markforumread&forumid=3'...

So.. what the hell?

It would seem that something has blocked index.php from loading normally, but *I* haven't touched anything..

Oh, and just 'http://board.acmlm.org/' works perfectly.. it's whenever I click the 'Main' link (out of habit..) I get trouble..

That doesn't happen for me. It loads fine.

That's what you get for using FireFox. Use Mozilla or Maxthon instead.

Now that we have the obligatory browser-bashing out of the way... xD

Generally, when that happens, for some reason, the .PHP file has no HTML code in it, so your browser has no idea what to do with it. Hence it asks you if you want to download it.

Yesterday, the board wouldn't load for me for a few minutes. During that time, when I tried to access a .php file instead of the real address (without the file name), it asked me about downloading as well. It started working like normal when the boards went back online, luckily.
(Yes, I'm using FF)

It's probably just a hiccup with the server hosting acmlm.org, which cause PHP to not work for a moment or three.

And the comment about FF was more to make fun of those who ONLY give that as an answer.

DOWNLOAD IT AND GIVE IT TO ME >).

This actually isn't a firefox bug, because I've used every version of firefox with this site as they come out , it's Windozes fault, or something in your internet options.

I've had this problem before, but only when on a large network.

Nobody blamed FireFox. And windows isn't to blame either. Re-read my post, above yours.

And as for your comment of, "DOWNLOAD IT AND GIVE IT TO ME >)", WTF would you do with it? It's nothing but the index page. If you want it, then just go to the index page, and save it. Simple.

Alright, since none of you can fucking understand what I said, I'll say it in big bold terms:

I WAS NOT FUCKING BLAMING FIREFOX! I WAS MAKING FUN OF THOSE WHO ONLY REPLY TO THIS KIND OF POST BY BLAMING THE BROWSER BEING USED BY THE PERSON HAVING THE PROBLEM.

Now do you people fucking get it? Or do I need to use italics/underline/blinking text/etc.?

I guess this would be the time to say thanks for answering the question... so, yeah, thanks.

I mean, I'm just glad it was something so simple..
