| Not to mention the fact that MS paint's compression algorithms in general are just terrible (Try saving pretty much anything to a .GIF and you'll see what I mean. About the only way around this that I've found [Short of using a better program, of course] is to open a new file, IMMEDIATELY save it as a .GIF, and work from there). | |||

The sample one he made had blue text on a black and red background ... must be a tutorial for n00bs to make crap no one wants to see  The images are .gif, but he did say "I have chosen .bmp" ... I've used Paint for maybe 3 days after I got my old Pentium 200MHz, then got Paint Shop Pro 4 ... which I still use after almost 7 years, it's my perfect alternative to Paint (simple, still fits on a floppy disk, better interface, supports JPG, GIF and PNG properly and even more formats, more features, not free but fully functional) |

And I've made good sigs in Paint (this layout was made in it, for example, and so was my minipic/avatar) I should look into PSP4, since you can just set the clock back... And if it still fits on a floppy, damn. | I can't tell if it was sarcasm or not. Evidently, a few users actually need to know how to do this. MS Paint isn't bad for making sigs though -- it's really really good for pixel art (particularly isometric). I just don't think anybody is going to make isometric signatures....  |
