| OOC: This is a challenge to ANYone. Rules are normal, but I have requests for my challenger. -Be creative, and -Post often. If you took part in either of the Renegade Buster Beetle stories, this fight is not for you. I'm trying to test out my brand new characters against someone who's never met 'em. Also, do me a favor and don't enter this super-evil awesome being... keep it simple but still put up a challenge. This is her first battle ever, remember that. Anyway, good luck. A young-looking girl walks through a lush forest, her very presence peaceful. Her brown hair flows behind her, as does her gold robe, lined with a magenta stripe down each side. Who is she? This girl has spend only a day living among mortals... the first day of an entire lifetime among them. She feels confident and prepared, alert and peppy; she holds unbelievable powers that she promised herself to only reveal when necessary... Who IS this girl? It is the ex-Oracle, Yiusi! "What kind of people will I meet?" she askes herself, fascinated with the wildlife and nature around her. She has never seen such beauty before. "Who will help me? Who will set up a challenge in my new life? I'm anxious to know!" Yiusi doesn't even know of the unknown figure walking casually up to her from behind. |

| ???: "Actually... you will meet me, nobody will help you, and you won't face any challenges for your life will end soon. Your soul is needed for the completion of the all new Dark Weapon prototype." The being standing behind Yiusi was a man in full armor... exept that the armor was kind of weird. It didn't seemed very metallic and the visor was made of some kind of glass... in short, it was a very high-tech armor. The man was completely covered by his armor and as such, it was impossible to tell what was truly under the armor... but according to the sound of his voice, it was an adult human male. Zerodius: "My name is Zerodius and your soul is now a property of the Hunters. For the good of everyone... I fear that your life will end. Don't worry however. While you shall die... it will allow us to save countless lives... and anyway, you won't truly die for while your body will be broken, your soul will live on... as a part of the Dark Weapon!" Zerodius' right transformed into some kind of tube with streams of mysterious energy flowing trought it... his arm had transformed into an Arm Blaster! Zerodius: "If you don't resist, this won't hurt at all... but the more you'll fight, the more it will hurt." Ah well, I guess that means I can show him my powers." "Perhaps we can compromise. Tell me more about this Dark Weapon and maybe I'll help you. But you're not killing anyone, period!" Inside, though, it's another story. "I hope he attacks! I want to test out my new powers! I want to FIGHT this guy!" |

| At this, Yiusi looks a little scared, but she immediately regains her confidence and replies. "Oracles are the 3rd most powerful beings in existance. The 2nd are Dragons, the 1st are Gods. I admit I'm no longer a real Oracle, but my spirit is like one, and it probably would not go over well with your Dark Weapon. IF you even defeat me, that is!" Yiusi, for the first time in her existance, engages an enemy. "Yiusi Ball!" she cries, holding her palms in front of her in a praying stance. She brings the palms apart, and a glowing, gel-like sphere of cream-colored energy emerges out of nowhere, held by her palms. She throws the ball in the air and catches it in her right hand. "How do you like my weapon? Nifty, huh? This Yiusi Ball can do everything. What are your powers?" In Yiusi's left hand gather white wisps that circle her open palm, a sign of the most mystic energy gathering together. |

| Zerodius: "My powers?" Zerodius laughed. Zerodius: "They're limitless. I am a God, an all-powerful creature... but I also can't interact with the mortal plane. You see... I'm not a physical creature. But my powers are not important. I may have limitless powers... but my Avatar's powers have limits. You see, what you are looking at is not the real Zerodius but a puppet that I use to interact with you, mortals. Where I come from, there are two types of Gods... fake Gods, who are just simple mortals with a bit more power and a longer longevity... and real Gods who have limitless powers and live for an insanely long time... but cannot interact with the mortal plane directly. I happen to be the leader of the second type..." Zerodius paused... Zerodius: "The Dark Weapon was already created, Yiusi. I'm not truly here to kill you to complete the Dark Weapon... I'm in your world becease that I'm sure that within your memory is the information I'm looking for..." A ball of magic appeared in Zerodius' left hand... or so it seemed. The magic sphere was emitting no energy waves as if it was just a mere energy... and yet, Zerodius was channelling power to the sphere. It was... so very weird. | OOC: Okay, sorry about all the mixups. Let's have ourselves an insane battle. Good luck! Yiusi shows a serious look. "You-- a God? You sound like you "come from" a whole different Universe, or even a different Dimmension. Well, if you're from a different Dimmension, you're at a disadvantage because I have home-field advantage. "You want to mess with me? So be it! Metalmorph Ball!" Yiusi throws the Yiusi Ball at Zerodius, and as soon as it leaves her hand it speeds up much faster. Also, extraordinarily, the ball of bright gel becomes a steel sphere on it's way-- and right before it reaches Zerodius, it extends spikes! The ball returns to Yiusi in it's normal form upon impact, or if it misses it reverses direction to return to her. Yiusi catches the Ball with one hand, expertly. |

| Zerodius dashed to the sides, avoiding the flying spiky ball with (relative) ease. Zerodius: "I come from much farther than just a single Dimension away... I come from an entire different Possibility! You can't imagine how different is truly is, in my own world! Even the laws of physics are different in my world! The only thing that is common between our two worlds is the Antimatter, the Emptiness... Where I come from, nobody worship the Gods... and Gods never ask anyone to worship them. They know that the only difference between them and mortals is their mysterious ability to manipulate the Emptiness and turn into matter and energy." The sphere in Zerodius' left hand turned into a sphere of pure darkness! Zerodius: "Now... it is time!" Zerodius unleashed his power! The sphere disappeared and Zerodius' shadow came to life. It began to move on it's own... Zerodius: "Now... which enemy is the real one? The one you see?... or it's reflection? Or is the reflection of that same reflection?" |

| "Interesting," Yiusi comments, catching the ball. "Gods aren't worshipped back at home... Okay, if you want to play the Double-Teaming game, you've picked the wrong one to mess with." Yiusi waves her hand, and a pink portal appears behind her, shimmering with light. Then she attacks again with Metalmorph Ball. She throws the ball at the 1st Zerodius, and it transforms into a steel spikeball... only this time it follows him! Yiusi concentrates as her hand moves with the ball. She seems to be guiding it. (One hit and the ball returns to her in normal form.) |

| The ball passed right trought Zerodius! Looks like it was the real Zerodius was actually the reflection! Zerodius: "Double-Teaming? I did not Double-Team you... I simply changed my physical shape! From real to reflection... from reflection to real!" Zerodius' body returned to it's original shape. Zerodius: "You do not have much experience with Antimatter magic, do you? Anyway... it is not a factor! I spent enough time talking and avoiding! It's my turn to strike!" Zerodius locked his aim on Yiusi and shot a few spheres of energy from his Arm Blaster. Since the element of the spheres was completely neutral, it would inflict damage no matter what the target is and since the spheres fly at extreme speed, then it is a safe almost-sure way for Zerodius to deplete his foe's Life Force... but however, those energy spheres were famous in Zerodius' world for doing average/low damage. The Arm Blaster was a trusty weapon... but many, MANY shots of it are needed to terminate foes with high defense and/or a large amount of Life Force. |

| As the ball returns to Yiusi, she notices Zerodius's attack and counters by throwing the Yiusi Ball again. It doesn't become Metalmorph Ball this time, but begins orbiting around her like an electron around an atom, at a very fast speed at that (about as fast as Zerodius's attacks). The ball of cream-colored gel-like energy seems to absorb any of the attacks that hit it... however, someone watching this could have sworn that one or two of the attacks missed the shield and hit it's mark. It's hard to tell, though. Yiusi keeps her shield up after the attacks are done. Her face seems to tell Zerodius that she was hit after all. "So this is physical pain... I've felt it only one time in my life, but this form... It doesn't seem to hurt very much, but it seems to cause tiredness in some way..." As Yiusi expresses her feelings, something emerges out of the portal... A small, firey bird appears! Yiusi turns around and stares at the small bird, calling her orbiting ball to her hand at the same time. "Why look, my portal has begun to help me. Come here, friend!" The fire-bird flies to her shoulder, leaving a trail of embers. "This summoned creature isn't very strong, but when I get enough of these, you'll have a hard time keeping up with the fight." Yiusi points at Zerodius, and the bird flies toward him and bombs him with a small fireball for light damage. Yiusi prepares to throw the Yiusi Ball again if necessary. (She can't do it this turn, though, after the shield thing.) |

| Zerodius dashes out of the way of the fireball! Zerodius: "You'll have to do better than this, lady! Anyway... let's see... if I mix a bit of this energy... then a few magical essences... there! I created a new spell! Let's see if it works!" PORTAL-BEGONE! Zerodius used his powers to send a shockwave that will make every dimensional portals nearby unstable thus forcing them to close! The shockwave wasn't strong enough to do any damage, wouldn't undo any summons, and vortex-type portals wouldn't be affected... but it was enough to close all nearby standart portals (Zerodius believed Yisui's portal to be a standart-type portal). |

| The portal closes. "Very funny, Zerodius. But this fight has barely even begun. Dimmension Ball attack!" The fire bird, still close to Zerodius, turns around to face Yiusi as she throws the Yiusi Ball at it. On the way, the Ball turns into a glowing magenta sphere of energy-- and when it hits the bird, it becomes a big explosion of raw psychic power! (The explosion is similar to normal explosions, only instead of fire it releases psychic energy. Powerful stuff.) When it clears, the bird is nowhere to be seen, and Yiusi is unharmed, having been far away from the bird during the explosion, and the ball is back in her hand in normal form. "If that didn't phase you, I don't know what will," Yiusi comments. |

| Off: Zerodius' elemental strenght: he is immune to attacks affecting directly and indirectly the mind/soul. As such, psychic and mind-altering attacks never strike him. He's also immune to instant-death spells and techs (he still suffer damage... but the instant-death side-effect doesn't work). However, Zerodius has one major elemental weakness: He's a god and as such, spells and attacks designed to destroy legendary creatures works wonder on him. ____________________________________________________________________ Zerodius is completely, entirely unnaffected by the explosion. Zerodius: "Very cute... but I'm totally immune to ALL attacks that affect the mind and/or the soul and as such, this attack did absolutely nothing to me since it was a psychic blast." Zerodius began to cast another spell using his left hand while his Arm Blaster (right arm) transformed into an Ice Cannon! Zerodius: "I'll give you one turn, one, before I actually attack!" | OOC: Hmm... I wonder if immunity to certain things is legal... Oh well, I'll play your little game. "Whoa, that did nothing!!? Oh alright, I'll play defensive." Yiusi waves her hand, and a grey/silver portal appears behind her, emitting silver light. Yiusi waves her hand again, and a shimmering barrier appears around her in a dome. The barrier is actually a portal that eliminates forms of energy that try to pass through it. Yiusi is not even mentally tiring out. Having Oracle powers, she has almost unlimited mana and concentration... but she's not used to battling, having never done so before, and is fascinated with it-- though she's never played Chess, if she had then this is what she'd describe melee combat as. OOC: Hey, BTW, have you read the two Renegade Buster Beetles stories yet? |

| Off: I did read the two stories. Not too bad I could say. Also, immunities are legal... but must be balanced by weaknesses of egal strenght. Most people tend to avoid giving too many immunities/weaknesses to their characters however since the more immunities/weaknesses you give to your characters, the harder it is to keep your character balanced and fair. ____________________________________________________________________ Zerodius unleashed his power. With his Ice Cannon, he shot two chunks of ice at Yiusi! The first was aimed at the sphere and the other one, at the ground below Yiusi. These weren't normal ice chunks. These were special chunks of ice that would "explode" on impact causing nearby substances to be frozen solid. Zerodius hoped to make Yiusi's weapon impossible to use and make her lose her balance by turning the ground below her into ice. As for the magic spell... he casted a simple scanning spell. The aim of the spell was to determine if the firebird following Yiusi was a phoenix or just a simple bird of fire. |

OOC: The bird is gone. Yiusi killed it with Dimmension Ball in an attempt to harm Zerodius.  As the two ice blasts head at her, they are absorbed by the portal-barrier and simply cease to exist. Though not real forms of energy, the two attacks were enchanted in some way or another (because of their special effect) and the portal read them as energy. Yiusi dissolves her barrier. "I thought that might work. See, I'm good!" Out of the grey portal behind her appears a floating, enchanted sword with a will of it's own. The sword is another summoned creature that her new portal produced. Yiusi points at Zerodius and the sword flies at him, slashing once and retreating back to Yiusi. Yiusi then immediately dashes at him, leaps and smash-throws the Yiusi Ball at his head for good damage. The Yiusi Ball, in it's normal form, is filled with Oracle energy and can't be dispelled by most dispelling abilities... |

| Zerodius stares at the sword as it's coming toward him... Zerodius: "So you have a weapon that blocks energy, right? Fine!" Zerodius' right arm turned back to normal. Using the energy in his left hand, Zerodius created a rift in space around him which would cause incoming objects (such as the sword and the sphere) to slow down to a crawl. Zerodius waited for the sword to come awfully close and then... for some reason, the sword slowed down to a crawl! It was barely moving! Zerodius made a step to the right, out of the sword's trajectory. Then, the ball came flying by! Just like the sword, it was slowed down to a crawl and all Zerodius had to do is sidestep to left, this time. Zerodius: "You know... for an Oracle, your fighting technique seems pretty lacking to me. You seem to be totally unable of attacking by yourself and is constantly using summoned beings to fight for you. Also, the stuff you summon is flat-out weak. I could keep on dodging such basic attacks all day. You're just so predictable! Let me guess! Even tough all of your summoned beings and your sphere failed at actually striking me, you will STILL use them unstead of actually doing something different. Then, you'll continue doing that for about 5 turns until the time I finally beat you up. Now that I made my predictions... let's see if they're right! Go on! Summon yet one more loosy weak summoned thingy and send your sphere-shaped so-called weapon at me!" |

| Zerodius stared at Yiusi... Zerodius: "Kill you? Didn't you forgot already? I'm here to FIGHT you, not kill you. If I had wanted to kill you..." An animal passed nearby... Zerodius stared at it and yelled: ETERNUM! Suddenly, a flash of light... or was it darkness? Whatever it was, the sound of thousands of blades hitting flesh was heard and the animal fell down, instantly dead, without a single trace on it of any attack... Zerodius: "Instant death to EVERY being, WITHOUT exeption. It is the ONLY spell that can kill us, the True Gods from Dimension 0. It is our only fear. As long as this spell will be in our hands... we will be safe. This spell is terrible beyond belief. It is THE ultimate attack. There are only 3 beings who have ever survived this attack... the Absolute Evil, the Energy Guardian, and the legendary hero, Ex Lightheart. All other beings were crushed instantly." Zerodius' armor turned red as it overheated! Zerodius: "Oops! Shouldn't have used the ultimate attack..." Zerodius' avatar fell to the ground, lifeless. It was too weak to withstand the radiations of such an attack. It will take a while for Zerodius' avatar to self-repair. Zerodius: "As you can see... if I had wanted to kill you... I would have done so long ago. I simply want to fight... I'm not here to kill... exept for that unfortunate test subject. Fortunately, it wasn't a true living being. It was an animal, a soulless machine made of flesh. If killing you would have been my goal... I would have aimed at you unstead." (edited by Zerodius on 12-16-04 08:24 PM) |
