O I got one... Lets go backwards. Such as 1.Z0. Nah, I was just curious because I really didnt like it but I guess it makes sense. I dont care just as development continues.

Originally posted by JillI explained this to max earlier. Let's examine the previous number: 1.93. That should be interpreted like 1.9.3. With this, 1.A.0 makes perfect sense. But we've never written out more than one period, so it's 1.A0. I could have made it 1.A but it just wasn't entirely obvious that it was a version number. (Neither's 1.A0, but more so than 1.A.) |

The fact that you're using decimal places in hex just violently defenestrates the laws of mathematics anyway. HEY LET'S CALL IT V3.141592654! |

Final Acmlmboard, but yet it won't be the Final version and then there will be a Final I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII. Hmm ... Well hey, Roman numbers wouldn't look so bad? Acmlmboard II Errr, they kind of do. Sure, go with the hex idea Jesper .. even though it seems a little "different", seems you're really head strong on doing it. |

^ Probably. That reminds me, isn't the Official 1.92 or whatever suppose to actually be released to the public soon? I thought I remember people mentioning to expect it to come out around the end of 2004, which is basically ... now. |

I'm pretty sure that we're all set on Super Acmlmboard Alpha Strike or Acmlmboard XX. We have to name it like a fighting game, goddammit! Acmlmboard: Deception.

But honestly, version 1.A is 2.6 in decimals... so we already have Acmlmboard 2.* in a way.

Heh, as already mentioned, Hex + decimal points = chaos. I still like my idea. |

If it was hex, it wouldn't be a decimal point. It would be a hexadecimal point. And why is it so hard? The number "2.1" in hexadecimal simply means "2 1/10" (that's 2 1/16 decimal)... |

I actually have seen the phrase "hexadecimal point" used in a book about videogame programming... |
