So I was editing a ROM in Eggvine (ripping BGs, and editing the levels to fit  ), and when I went to play it, for some reason the file window had refreshed and was only showing 60 of the 415 files. I refreshed manually, but I didn't want to go through the list to find the ROM, so I just set it to list by most recently modified. Not there.  I browse around in the list... Oh, here it is! Why's it way up here?Perhaps this explains it:  Now how the hell did that happen? I know EV is buggy but it shouldn't be manually setting the date. (edited by HyperHacker on 12-03-04 12:52 AM) |

| I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think the reason why some files show up as having been modified before they were created is because the "date modified" info is stored within the file, whereas the "date created" info is not, and the "date modified" info isn't changed when the file is copied. (In fact, in MS-DOS, the "date created" info didn't seem to even be stored at all...) (edit: I don't think I explained that very well...)
