Well, considering there is NES Emulators which you can use on flash carts...

That thing looks so clumsy, it probably could play NES games too but... still clumsy.

Flash Carts will give you more use out of your GameBoy Advance or Nintendo DS than you could ever possibly imagine. I use my Nintendo DS not only as a music and video player, but I use PocketNES to play classic NES games... like Little Nemo, and Adventures of Lolo.

FCE Ultra is x86 based, GBA is ARM. So no...

You use Pocket NES

It works in a GBA emulator, very good support too. I would take it before Nesticle anyday.

The GBA screen is smaller than the NES one, but it's not a problem. It shrinks the screen in a way that isn't so bad on a real GBA. It will look odd on a emulator.

...Long story short, it's like trying to put Minesweeper on the GBA. It's NOT a PC.

PocketNES should work with the DS if a compatible flash cart's used.

I think it'll be cool if/when N64 emulation is available for the DS.

You know it'll happen someday .

YEah, in the same manner as SNESAdvance. Only early Games and no sound.

That reminds me, I hadn't checked out SNESAdvance in some time now.

Full SNES emulation is possible on DS, that's sure. Hell I think it's possible to port the GBA version of SnesAdvance to DS then add sound support.

I think the Author will work on it as soon as there is a good DS Emu and / or DS Flash card aviable.

And I can recommend PocketNES too, it's great.

I've tried playing it with friends on my NES... Really, they only slow you down. Your moves must be perfectly in sync to advance at any reasonable speed - I've never gotten past level 7 with a partner, whereas I can get to the moon without losing any continues when solo.

Ah, level 4... I generally skip it since those damn anvils lead to unnecessary loss of lives.

Some general tips: Pick up both continues (one in level 3, one in level 7).

PICK UP EVERY EXTRA LIFE. It's *always* worth it.

Near the beginning of level 1, there's a one-tile island in the water. There's an invisible lid on it, press the button that opens them to warp to level 3 (the hit detection on it is far more precise than that of other lids, however, so it may not work first try). I usually don't take htis since level 2 is easy and provides extra lives.

Run to the end of level 1 as fast as you can, make it to the rocket and jump in to warp to level 8. Level 8 is easy so you can get to level 9 to see what it's like if you can't get there normally, but if you're good you shouldn't take it since it skips past the continues.

In level 3, there's a small hill after the razors in the ground. Get the windup key to increase your speed to be able to scale it, else you can't jump far enough. At the top is a warp to level 5 - I generally take this since going through level 4 is somewhat risky.

Is this the DS motto "touch it" or is it just a really bad thread title? Sounds like the NAMBLA motto...

No, the DS' slogan is "touching is good." If you ask me, it's kinda worse

It's only dirty if you know dirty things, simple as that.

Kids won't understand it anyway.

Just got my 3rd Game, Feel the Magic XY / XX.

Now that's a fun game like wario, only in a nother Weirdness direction.

So it's official, good DS Software comes from the good old Japanese Companies (Sega and Nintendo ^^)

Good thing the US-Version of that Game recogniced my Japanese copies of Chu Chu Rocket and Sonic Advance ^^

I have many things unlocked in fumaru made in Wario, but still many more to go.

And now playing more Super Mario 64 DS.

Now I just wonder what else I'll encounter playing with my DS? Next game to get: Animal Crossing DS. (I just hope there is a way of getting my Cube-Save on the DS).
