Hey! I made a cool game! It's called "I poisoned half the food, so if you eat you might die!" Have a taco.

But you almost never have to have a game to unlock stuff (aside from the GC game), just the GBA and a link cable normally. At least, that's been my experience...

That's kind of what I said / meant...

I don't have a GBA, but I have a lot of GC games. I had to use a friends GBA to unlock Metroid for Metroid Prime, the Fusion suit, and all those specials. Windwaker? Didn't get everything in that game, because I didn't have a GBA. I'm sure there's many others ... FF: Chronicles? You can't play that game without a GBA, correctly ...

All in all I'm not just bashing the cube here, all systems have their downfalls.

PS2? I need too many memory cards. Outdated system (graphical wise), and I'm probably going to have to fix mine up soon as I'm getting the dreadful "disc-read error" now...

Xbox? Where's the 1st Party support here? Oh! Those other games besides Halo ... well, most of them suck. Next to Team Ninja exclusives, the Xbox seems to have a lack of variaty, it's mainly my "FPS" console. And you *have* to buy a DVD remote to watch DVD's on it, kind of annoying.

lolol ww sucks it has kiddie gwafix so it sux lol

but it was so frustrating!

Um, it was incredibly easy (unless you're referring to the endless ammount of time you spend sailing).

2) Bad placement of Z button.

Have you ever used a PS controller? It has a z button for both hands .

The Xbox just doesn't have any good games, save a few (TS2, Halos, some other good FPS's).

completely change its looks, physics, and plot.

I mean, the should have totally made a remake of OoT, I mean, why did they have to change the story? I for one call that a sequel.

completely change its looks, physics, and plot.

Now you're just making things up.

completely change its looks, physics, and plot.

Despite the fact that the cell shading didn't bother me, omg they did change the looks.

The only reason I'd get a Xbox would be for Morrowind (which is, IMO, the best game on the Xbox)

It's an awesome game.

Which is why I have it on the PC .

No offense here CC, but.

So you call it a brick. Frankly, I don't care how damn big the console is. Controller too big? They make smaller ones. My only complaint about this console is the black and white buttons.

So, you aren't complaining about the fact that the console is very large, as are the controls (but you can go buy smaller ones to give MS even more money!), but you're complaining about the color of the buttons?

Mario Sunshine just sucked

It was a clone of Mario 64 with water and prettiness. Now, being a clone of M64 is bad. But not enough to make it horrible .

Having played all of the choices, I have to say I'm the most impressed with the GC. There isn't a lack of mature games for it, which does indeed seem to be some peoples only beef with anything Nintendo related. Mature games seem to only have one selling point anyway, like a gimmick, and gimmicks never last long, no matter how violent, or how bouncy the game.

I have no problems with the XBox or PS2, but there's nothing that stands out and grabs my particular interests and makes me want to drop my GC and just forget it existed. It's games are great, and it is second in my all time favorite consoles, right after Dreamcast.

Yeah I completely agree with everyone mentioning the GC "does" have a good amount of mature games on it.

It's -only- the home to the entire Resident Evil franchise.

I never got too into the DC though, I don't know, maybe it's just me. I bought the system last year, for 40$ I got myself 2 controllers, Shemnue, Hydro Thunder, and a memory card along with the system of course. I mean it did have good games, but I've just never really seen the "good" games for sale. I remember seeing Sonic Adventure for like 5$ at Gamestop once, too bad that was "before" I had a DC, I wouldnt' have passed that one up.

I don't know, in no way am I'm saying the "DC wasn't good", I've heard plenty of people acclaim it to be one of the best systems out there, and I will admit it's short life span was somewhat disappointing. More than likely I'm just missing out. I'll have to start looking around for some more games to make me bring out that system again, again the games are dirt cheap. (and yes, I know why, so don't bother explaining it to me)

I'm gonna have to say 'none of the above' and go with the GBA SP. I've got the gold Zelda one, its so pretty! And Minish Cap is easily in my top three Zelda games ever (The other two being Majora's Mask and LttP) The battery life is spot-on and you can get so many good games for it now. And I think its been the top-selling machine this Christmas, we're selling about five a day Compared to two Xboxes a day and about two GCNs a week.

I love the Dreamcast, but the really good games are really hard to find, or have pretty decent ports to other consoles, like Grandia II.

Sadly, SSBM still remains as probably the number one GC game in sales.

Just kind of shows Nintendo hasn't pushed out anything yet to top it.

(even though I'd take either, Prime or Prime 2 over it anyday)

No. I'm complaining about the placement. Read the whole paragraph next time, hm? And I HAD to call them "black" and "white" because they have no other name. =/

The fact that this never happened does wonders for your credibility.

Never said PS controllers were better.

Read the thread next time, you did.

Cheveyo said "the controller layout on the PS2 is the best of the bunch." and you said "Agreed."

Yes, they should. OoT RULED. I would have given anything to see an extension of it.

I said remake, not extension.

Despite the fact that the spin jump was changed, the controls and gameplay are incredibly similiar. Perhaps you're referring to the level design.

No, the controls may have been similar, but for some reason seemed to suck. Maybe because half the time they didn't work right? Seems about right to me. And it wasn't my controller - that was the exact same one I used for my many 250,000 point combos in Tony Hawk's Underground, and later for my 850,000 point combo in the same game.
