Yoshi's tongue isn't sticky, he grabs stuff with it.  I think the entire Mushroom Kingdom is another planet. I've said this before but hear me out. It explains the low gravity, but there's something else. If this is a planet similar, but not identical to Earth, its inhabitants must be similar to, but not human. They're all aliens! That's why they experience growth spurts upon eating Mushrooms, can shoot fire from their hands, etc. |

| Actually, it depends on the specie of chameleon and frog. Most chameleons have a secretion that creates a bit of stickiness. But frogs will actually have a slight whip to their tongue and it is covered in bristles that impale the poor food item and bring it in. And for godsake, it isn't an alien world. It is a drug trip. |

| From everything I've seen, The Mushroom Kingdom is just a small Kingdom in the Mushroom World on Earth in a parallel universe. In the Movie, the comet-thing linked the two worlds. In the SMB3 TV show, warp pipes connected France and the Mushroom Kingdom. They are not different planets. Back to Yoshi, the "eggs" that the Yoshies lay are not reproductive, from the fact that the are hollow/explosive. They are merely defensive projectiles made from a hard shell that surrounds what Yoshi swallows. Yoshi takes the good stuff and the other stuff becomes an "egg." It's really quite simple. The only real Yoshi eggs are in SMW and YS. And besides, how do you know if a Yoshi is male or female? |
