This is a ROM I've been working on off and on. The first world is finished, which is called Communist Island. Essentially, the Communists take over the Mushroom Kingdom and you as Mario gotta stop them. Tell me what you think! Here it is. I FIXED IT AND TESTED IT! I fixed the Geocities problem. It seems there's a transfer limit for it, so I got a new hosting service. It is now downloadable again! Check the first post! BTW! In the game, you're fighting against the Communists! You're not fighting for them! It's more like Super Black Bros. 2 than Super KKK Bros. 2! | Just for the people who didn't know, when he said to a 1MB version of it, that isnt that hard to get. Dont use an expansion utility, open it in LM then save without making changes, it expands it to 1MB, but the problem is fixed now, so this post was useless. | |||

| Why would anyone want to make a patch which requires the player to expand the ROM before applying? That's plain stupid, except for DW:TLC, which required that due to copyright related issues since the ROM was too large. Since only the first world is finished, I doubt that you have reached the size limit where it's neccesary. (To give even more info: DW:TLC was so big that it required banks to be moved around during expansion. Therefore, program code and other stuff, maybe the entire game, would be in the IPS, ruining the legality of the patch) |
